Hector was a prince of Troy, and also the commanding officer of the Trojan army. This was a moving speech that was meant to give the Trojans courage before their fight. The Trojans were fighting against the Greek army, because of Helen.

A fight was about to break out, but Briseis said these words and stopped the fight from happening. She did not want another fight because so many men had already died that day. Agamemnon wanted to make Briseis his slave, so he'd had her taken from Achilles' tent. Achilles became angry, and drew his sword, ready to fight Agamemnon's men.

These words were said to Agamemnon in anger. Achilles said them to Agamemnon. He had no love for Agamemnon, in fact, he hated Agamemnon. He and Agamemnon were in the tent, and he was angry with Agamemnon, because he took Briseis.

Achilles and Patroclus were talking; Achilles told Patroclus that he wouldn't fight until Agamemnon came to him, begging. Patroclus later died by Hector's hands, pretending to be Achilles.

Menelaus was Agamemnon's brother and Helen's husband. She did not love him, so she left with Paris on the boat, when they were headed back to Troy. Agamemnon took advantage of the situation to go to war against the Trojans.

Odysseus said these words when Agamemnon was having a meeting with some of the kings. Odysseus was talking about Agamemnon's brother, Menelaus, who died by Hector's hands. The kings told Agamemnon that they would need Achilles if they were going to win the war. Agamemnon knew that Achilles wouldn't listen to him. Briseis, at that time, was being harassed by the Greek men.

It was Achilles who came to her rescue.

The most climactic fight in the entire movie was the one between Hector and Achilles. Achilles wanted revenge for his cousin's death. Before they started to fight, Hector asked Achilles to make a pact that whoever lost got the proper burial they deserved. But Achilles didn't listen.

After the death of his son, Priam went to visit Achilles. He kissed Achilles' hands, and asked for Hector's body. Achilles was stunned to see Priam there. Achilles said to Priam, "You're still my enemy in the morning." and Priam responded with the above words. Achilles then promised that the Greeks would not attack the Trojans for the grieving period. Briseis was walking back to the camp; she saw Priam and went back with him.

These were the last words that were said in a voice over. The final scene, before fading out, was when the Greeks were burning Achilles' body. Odysseus was burning Achilles' body at that time. He was the the voice over. Odysseus wanted to be remembered as a person who lived in the time of Hector and Achilles.
