Answer: I Am Legend

In this 2007 science fiction film, Will Smith plays Robert Neville, a scientist. Neville is currently living in New York City, which is now abandoned after a virus has killed most of the population. The virus kills most people it infects but it turns a small percentage of those infected into vampire-like beings called dark seekers. Neville is immune to the virus and thus is free to use his blood to try and find a cure.
2. Oscar, a tongue scrubber turned "killer"

Answer: Shark Tale

"Shark Tale" is a 2004 animated film set under the sea. Will Smith voices Oscar, a bluestreak cleaner wrasse, a type of fish. Oscar is employed as a whale tongue scrubber who is in debt but wishes to be rich and famous. Oscar gets his shot at fame after a shark named Frankie (Michael Imperioli) is accidentally killed by an anchor.

Frankie was known as a shark who attacks other fish so his death is welcomed and Oscar becomes a hero after everyone thinks he killed Frankie. However, Frankie's shark family threatens Oscar's reef as they search for Lenny (Jack Black) Frankie's vegetarian brother who is much calmer than the other sharks. Oscar is expected to drive the sharks away from the reef, but he is not really the brave hero everyone thinks he is.
3. Bennet Omalu, a Pittsburgh based doctor who causes a stir in town

Answer: Concussion

In this 2015 film based on a true story, Will Smith plays Bennet Omalu. Omalu works in the Allegheny County Coroner's Office where he conducts an autopsy on former Pittsburgh Steeler Mike Webster (David Morse). Webster died of a heart attack at a relatively young age.

As the years pass, Omalu notices a number of former football players have died young and all have had the same tendencies before their deaths, including memory loss and anger issues. This leads him to conduct research into concussions and he determines that the former players all died from repeated head injuries received during their football games. The NFL tries to discredit Omalu and his research but he fights back.
4. Mike Lowrey, a Miami detective looking for stolen heroin

Answer: Bad Boys

"Bad Boys" is a 1995 action film starring Will Smith as Mike Lowrey and Martin Lawrence as Marcus Burnett. Lowrey and Burnett are detectives who are searching for a hundred million dollars worth of cocaine that was seized from the mafia but has since been stolen from the police. It is believed to be an inside job, committed by someone from inside the department.
5. James Darrell Edwards III, a police officer who has his identity erased

Answer: Men In Black

In the 1997 science fiction film "Men in Black", Will Smith plays James Darrell Edwards III, a police officer who becomes Agent J after his identity is erased. Tommy Lee Jones plays Agent K, a Men in Black agent who recruits Agent J to his team. Agents J and K dedicate themselves to protecting the humans of Earth from aliens.

The aliens live among the people but disguise themselves as humans.

"The Pursuit of Happyness" is a 2006 drama based on the life of Chris Gardner. Gardner has invested all of his money in a new type of bone density scanner that does not sell well. While trying to sell a scanner, Chris comes across Jay Twistle (Brian Howe) who offers him an internship opportunity at a stock firm. Gardner and his wife Linda (Thandie Newton) are in severe financial distress and have trouble paying the rent and Chris' overdue tickets which causes tension between them.

7. Steven Hiller, a Marine who fights aliens

Answer: Independence Day

"Independence Day" is a 1996 science fiction film starring Will Smith as Steven Hiller and Bill Pullman as President Whitmore. Hiller is a survivor of a mass alien invasion. Hiller has managed to capture an alien and he takes it to Area 51 in the desert to be studied.

While in the desert, Hiller and some of the other survivors hatch a plot to launch a counterattack against the aliens.
8. Tim Thomas, a man who wants to commit suicide so he can donate his organs

In this 2008 drama film, Will Smith plays Tim Thomas. Tim once caused a serious car accident that killed seven people including his fiancée, Sarah (Robinne Lee). In order to make up for their deaths and to stop feeling guilty, Tim decides to donate all of his organs to save seven people. Doing so would require him to commit suicide as some of the people he selects to save need organs Tim cannot live without.

In order to track down possible organ recipients, Tim steals the identity of his brother Ben, (Michael Ealy) who is an IRS agent and has access to people's financial information.
9. Del Spooner, a police detective and technophobe

Answer: I, Robot

"I, Robot" is a 2004 action film based on the Isaac Asimov story of the same name. In the film, Will Smith stars as Del Spooner whose life was once saved by a robot. However, Del hates robots, as the robot who saved him chose to save him over a little girl because the robot deemed Del was more useful and likelier to survive.

The robots must abide by Asimov's three laws of robotics, one of which is that they cannot harm humans. After Dr. Lanning (James Cromwell) falls from a window, Spooner believes a robot is to blame though everyone else believes it must be a suicide.
10. James West, an army captain hunting down a confederate general

Answer: Wild Wild West

"Wild Wild West" is a 1999 western comedy starring Will Smith as Army Captain James West and Kevin Kline as U.S. Marshal Artemus Gordon. West and Gordon are chasing down General Bloodbath McGrath (Ted Levine) who allegedly ordered a massacre of free slaves. West and Gordon are also asked by President Grant (also played by Kevin Kline) to investigate a string of deaths of scientists which may be masterminded by Dr. Loveless (Kenneth Branagh).
