Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "World domination...The same old dream. Our asylums are full of people who think they're Napoleon, Or God." Which Bond actor said it?

Answer: Sean Connery

This quote came from the 1962 James Bond film, entitled "Dr. No". The line, said by Sean Connery to Dr. No, was supposed to counter what Dr. No had just said. Dr. No said, "The Americans are fools. I offered my services, they refused. So did the East. Now they can both pay for their mistake."
2. "Whoever she was, I must have scared the living daylights out of her." Which Bond said it?

Answer: Timothy Dalton

This quote came from the 1987 James Bond movie, "The Living Daylights", starring Timothy Dalton as Bond. When James Bond said the line, he was referring to the female sniper whom he had stopped by shooting her weapon out of her hand. It turned out that the female sniper was a good guy, and that the bullets she had in her rifle were blanks, for the purpose of making Koskov's defection look real.
3. "It'll take more than cutting off your earlobes, Blofeld, to turn you into a count." Which Bond said it?

Answer: George Lazenby

This quote came from the 1969 Bond film entitled, "On Her Majesty's Secret Service", starring George Lazenby as James Bond. Bond agitatedly said it in response to Ernest Blofeld's remark. Blofeld said, "A small slip. Takes more than a few props to turn 007 into a Herald." He said that Bond was nowhere near perfect in his disguise as a count.

When Bond said the line, he was referring to how Blofeld cut off his earlobes to disguise himself as a different looking person.
4. "May Day, where have you been? I've been waiting for you... to take care of me, personally." Which Bond said it?

Answer: Roger Moore

This quote came from the 1985 James Bond film, "A View To A Kill", starring Roger Moore, as James Bond. Mayday was Max Zorin's right hand woman in the movie and James Bond seduced her. When Bond said the line he was in Mayday's bedroom, already in his birthday suit.
5. "My dear girl, there are some things that just aren't done, such as drinking Dom Perignon '53 above the temperature of 38 degrees Fahrenheit. That's just as bad as listening to the Beatles without earmuffs!" Which Bond said this rather amusing quote?

Answer: Sean Connery

This quote came from the 1964 James Bond film, entitled "Goldfinger". It starred Sean Connery as James Bond. James Bond said the line to Jill Masterson, a female character in the movie. He said the line because the woman was seducing him and for once, he thought it was wrong.

After he finished his sentence, James Bond was knocked unconscious, while Jill was painted gold by Auric Goldfinger.
6. "What? No small-talk? No chit-chat? That's the trouble with the world these days. Nobody takes the time to do a real sinister interrogation. It's a lost art." Which Bond said it?

Answer: Pierce Brosnan

This quote was taken from the 1995 James Bond movie, entitled "Goldeneye", starring Pierce Brosnan as James Bond. The line was said, after James and Natalya were captured by the Russian Ministry of Defense. They were being interrogated by Dmitri Mishkin, when Bond came up with the clever line. Bond was referring to how the art of interrogation had lost its edge, seeing as there were no threats or anything like that to make it more sinister.
7. "I guess it's, uh....a farewell to arms." Which Bond said it?

Answer: Timothy Dalton

This quote was taken from the 1989 James Bond film, entitled "Licence to Kill", starring Timothy Dalton as James Bond. The line was spoken by James, after he was summoned by M for his reckless rogue antics. M ordered Bond to go back to his assigned mission in Turkey, but he refused. M had no choice, but to revoke James Bond's license to kill.

After M asked for Bond's gun, Bond said the line. After he said what he had to say, Bond beat up M's guards and ran off.
8. "All those feathers and he still can't fly!" Which Bond said this cleverly timed quote?

Answer: Roger Moore

This quote was taken from the 1977 James Bond film, entitled "The Spy Who Loved Me". It starred Roger Moore as James Bond. Bond said this clever sentence when one of the enemies fell off of a cliff in a cloud of feathers. The feathers came from a truck that happened to be carrying mattresses.
9. "Well, hardest substance found in nature, they cut glass, suggest marriages, I suppose it replaced the dog as the girl's best friend. That's about it." Which Bond said it?

Answer: Sean Connery

This quote was from the 1971 James Bond film, entitled "Diamonds Are Forever", starring Sean Connery. Bond said this in response to a question about diamonds, by Sir Donald Munger. Munger asked Bond how far his expertise went into the field of diamonds.

After his overly intelligent answer, M made a further response, sarcastically saying that it was refreshing that there was a subject Bond wasn't an expert on.
10. "Vodka martini, plenty of ice... if you can spare it". Which Bond said this?

Answer: Pierce Brosnan

This quote was from the 2002 Bond film, entitled "Die Another Day", starring Pierce Brosnan. James said the line when, someone offered him a drink at the Ice Hotel, he was staying at.
