Who Kills Who? "Jurassic Park" Style Quiz

Answer: Spinosaurus

The first of three main characters to die in "Jurassic Park 3", Cooper is a mercenary and weapons expert, hired by the Kirbys to help find their missing son, Eric. He's eaten by the Spinosaurus shortly after arriving on the island.

Cooper's death occurs towards the beginning of the movie and is witnessed by viewers as the Spinosaurus is seen to run out of the trees and snatch Cooper in its jaws before he even has time to move.

After this first appearance, one of the main characters identifies the dinosaur as a Spinosaurus, pointing out the characteristic sail on its back. While Velociraptor and Compsognathus are also featured in this movie, Allosaurus isn't seen or mentioned.

A palaeontologist, Robert Burke, is part of the InGen group that travels to Isla Sorna, though it seems he doesn't know the dinosaurs were actually created by InGen. He's killed by a T-Rex whilst trying to remove a snake from his shirt.

Burke's death occurs roughly halfway through the movie and is witnessed by viewers. Whilst hiding behind a waterfall with the other main characters, he sees the tail of a snake disappearing down his shirt. He panics and jumps around. At this moment, the T-Rex sticks its head through the waterfall and grabs Burke's flailing arm. He's dragged out, screaming, there's a crunch and the waterfall turns red with blood.

The T-Rex is talked about and seen quite often during this movie and can be recognised by its large size and its short arms with two-fingered hands. While Compsognathus is also featured in this movie, Dilophosaurus is only featured in "Jurassic Park" while Spinosaurus is featured in "Jurassic Park 3".

Ludlow is the last person to die in "The Lost World: Jurassic Park" however, unlike everyone else killed by the T-Rex, Ludlow isn't killed by an adult. He finds himself trapped in the cargo hold of a ship and, after receiving a rather nasty leg injury from the adult Rex, he ends up being attacked and killed by its infant.

Ludlow's death occurs towards the end of the movie and is the last to be witnessed by viewers.

As I've previously mentioned, T-Rex is seen and talked about a lot during this movie. While Spinosaurus and Ceratosaurus are both featured in "Jurassic Park 3", Megalosaurus isn't seen or mentioned.

The last main character to die in "Jurassic Park 3", Udesky's death occurs roughly halfway though the movie and is witnessed by viewers.

Whilst fleeing a pack of Velociraptors, Udesky is separated from the rest of the group and (surprise!) runs into a pair of raptors. Viewers later see Udesky lying on the ground, apparently dead, but then he moves, indicating that he's actually still alive. However, nothing is what it seems. As other characters attempt to help him, the raptors suddenly return and it becomes clear that they've actually set a trap to lure in an unsuspecting victim. One raptor then seizes Udesky's head and snaps his neck.

In "The Lost World: Jurassic Park", Velociraptor was described as a two-metre-tall pack hunter with binocular vision, strong arms and killing claws on both feet. Unfortunately, this description was only partially correct as the real-life version was much smaller and covered in feathers. In "Jurassic Park 3" the raptors are mentioned a couple of times before they're actually seen.

Answer: T-Rex

Towards the end of this movie, the park's resident Velociraptors, having escaped from their enclosure due to a power outage, are seen stalking the remaining main characters in the park's Visitor's Centre. Just as they're about to attack, the T-Rex suddenly appears. The raptors attack the Rex, but are quickly overpowered and killed.

This is the third appearance from the T-Rex in this movie and the difference in size between it and the raptors is quite obvious, with the raptors being smaller and more agile than the larger T-Rex.

The second death seen in "Jurassic Park 3", M. B. Nash is a pilot and mercenary. Shortly after arriving on Isla Sorna, he and Cooper are attacked by the Spinosaurus. Cooper is killed but Nash survives, gets everyone back on the plane and attempts to get airborne. However, the Spinosaurus appears on the runway. Nash attempts to avoid it but ends up crashing the plane into a tree. The Spinosaurus then rips off the plane's nose, drags Nash out and eats him.

As I've previously mentioned, the dinosaur that kills both Nash and Cooper is later identified by another character as being a Spinosaurus.

This is another death seen in "The Lost World: Jurassic Park".

Dieter is a bit of a bully towards the dinosaurs, particularly the tiny Compsognathus (popularly known as Compies), which he enjoys electrocuting with a cattle prod. In a later scene, Dieter wanders alone into the forest (he needs the bathroom), and this is when the Compies get their revenge, gathering into a large pack and killing him.

Dieter's death occurs roughly halfway through the movie, not long after the death of another main character (Eddie Carr) and is witnessed by viewers. He has his first encounter with a Compy not long after arriving on the island and the tiny dinosaur is identified by Robert Burke.

Nedry is a computer programmer employed at "Jurassic Park". He turns off the park's power supply to gain access to the lab where the dinosaur embryos are stored and steals a number of them, intending to sell them. Unfortunately, during his escape, his car runs off the road and he's attacked by a Dilophosaurus.

Nedry's death occurs roughly halfway through the movie, not long after the death of another main character (Donald Gennaro) and is witnessed by viewers. However, the movie's depiction of Dilophosaurus is inaccurate as there's no fossil evidence to suggest that it was venomous or had a pop-up neck frill (though it did have a crest on its head).

The Dilophosaurus are mentioned earlier in the movie when the tour group drives past their enclosure, however, it's not until this particular scene that Dilophosaurus makes an appearance.

Muldoon is Jurassic Park's game warden. When Mr Arnold doesn't return from the maintenance shed, Muldoon and Dr Sattler go searching for him and discover that shutting down the park's entire system has deactivated everything, including the electric fence around the Velociraptor enclosure. While Dr Sattler reaches the maintenance shed, Muldoon isn't so lucky, walking right into a raptor ambush.

Muldoon's death occurs roughly three quarters of the way through the movie, as is witnessed by viewers as the raptor sticks its head through the bushes beside him.

A field equipment expert, viewers first meet Eddie in "The Lost Word: Jurassic Park". He's part of the team sent by Mr Hammond to Isla Sorna to document the dinosaurs and is last seen being ripped in half by a pair of T-Rex. What a really NICE way to die!

Eddie's death occurs roughly halfway through the movie and is witnessed by viewers. This is the second appearance made by the T-Rex. The research group have the injured baby Rex in their trailers, prompting an attack from the adults.

A lawyer who represents Mr Hammond's investors, Gennaro's death is probably the most memorable "Jurassic Park" scene, mostly because he gets eaten off the toilet by a T-Rex.

Gennaro's death occurs roughly halfway through the movie and is witnessed by viewers as the T-Rex rips down the wood surrounding the toilet block. Gennaro is last seen disappearing into the Rex's jaws.

The T-Rex is mentioned very early in this movie and when the tour group drives past its enclosure, the message "We'll try to tempt the Rex" is heard on the car radios. A cage containing a goat appears. Later, a storm hits the island and, as the tour group heads back to the Visitor's Centre, their cars suddenly stop. We know they stop next to the T-Rex paddock because we can still see the goat (which later gets eaten).

Whilst loading a Velociraptor into its enclosure, Jophery has the job of opening the crate. He waits until the crate is secured to the side of the enclosure then climbs up a ladder on the side of the crate and starts to lift the crate's door up. The crate suddenly flies backwards, Jophery ends up on the ground and the raptor drags him into the crate, despite his workmates attempts to save him.

Jophery's death occurs at the beginning of the movie and is witnessed by viewers who catch a brief glimpse of the raptor inside the crate.

A hunter with the InGen team, Carter ends up being trodden on by a T-Rex. His death occurs roughly halfway through the movie and is witnessed by viewers as the T-Rex crushes him underfoot. As previously mentioned, the T-Rex makes a number of appearances in this movie and is identified quite early.

Answer: Spinosaurus/T-Rex

This scene occurs towards the half-way point of the movie. The main characters are seen fleeing the Spinosaurus through the forest, only to run into a T-Rex having its lunch. The Rex subsequently chases them back into the forest where it encounters the Spinosaurus. The pair engage in a violent fight which ends with the Spinosaurus killing the Rex by breaking its neck.

The T-Rex is only mentioned once in this movie before it makes an appearance and this is the only time during the movie that viewers see a one-on-one dino fight.
