The nurse told her the baby had been found in a dumpster and it was while she was at the baby's side that he went into a seizure. Margaret learned from a nurse that the baby's name was Isaiah.

While living with Khalia, Isaiah showed difficulty in adjusting to the new living situation. Kadar explained how both scenarios legally meant the same thing and that her case would be a tough one to win. Kadar explained that Margaret would argue she was Isaiah's true mother and Khalia had no business taking him away from her.

Dr. Goldstein insisted that they sometimes temporarily placed minority children with White parents until they can find a suitable household headed by parents of the same race. Dr. Goldstein also said she did not subscribe to the belief of minority children being adopted into a more affluent household. Dunagan had guest starring stints on the TV shows "Prison Break", "Law and Order" and "Cold Case".
10. I represented the Lewins in their custody battle with Khalia. Who played me?

Answer: LaTanya Richardson

Richardson portrayed Caroline Jones in "Losing Isaiah". The Lewin's retained Caroline to represent them in a custody case to determine where Isaiah would live. Caroline prepared both Margaret and Charlie to face a potential outcome of losing custody of Isaiah since legal adoptions could be reversed, especially in a case where the custody was awarded on a default judgment. Caroline questioned Khalia on the witness stand and brought up her history of drug abuse to place in doubt her ability to properly raise a child. Caroline was also seen questioning a physician on the potential side effects to a baby born drug addicted as further means to discredit Khalia's character. Richardson was seen in guest starring appearances on the TV series "Boston Public", "Judging Amy" and "Ally McBeal".
