1. I won my case against Andy Dufresne. Who played me?

Answer: Jeffrey DeMunn

DeMunn, born on April 25th, 1947 in Buffalo, New York, was cast as a district attorney in a minor role. The DA back in 1946 prosecuted Andy Dufresne for murdering his wife. Throughout the case, the DA was seen interviewing a variety of witnesses in order to build his case against Andy, which included a lot of circumstantial evidence.

The DA was pleased to hear when Andy was deemed guilty of the crime of murder. However, what the DA did not know at the time was Andy was actually innocent. DeMunn starred in the films "The Green Mile", "Phenomenon" and "Eyes of an Angel".

He has also guest starred on the TV series "The Practice", "Law and Order: Trial by Jury" and "The West Wing".
2. I sentenced Andy to prison. Who played me?

Answer: John Horton

Horton portrayed a judge in a small role in "The Shawshank Redemption". The judge presided over Andy Dufresne's trial and was seen observing the witnesses being cross-examined. Once the attorneys rested their cases and Andy was found guilty, the judge had to decide what the proper punishment was for Andy.

He sentenced Andy to two consecutive life sentences in prison. Horton had roles in the movies "Donnie Brasco", "Thinner" and "This Space Between Us". He also guest starred on the TV shows, "Law and Order: Criminal Intent", "New York Undercover" and "Corwin".
3. I was wrongfully convicted of murdering my wife. Who played me?

Answer: Tim Robbins

Robbins, a native of West Covina, California, played Andy Dufresne. Andy worked at a bank and he was arrested due to being the number one suspect in his wife's murder. Andy was convicted and sentenced to spend time at a prison called Shawshank. While at the prison, Andy recommended that the prison implement programs which encouraged literacy as he noticed some of his inmates were unable to read and write.

There was one instance where Andy spent a long time in solitary confinement over a dispute he had with the warden. Throughout Andy's time at Shawshank, he dug a hole through the wall in his prison cell in order to escape and he managed to not be seen by any of the prison guards.

He crawled through the hole one night and successfully escaped from Shawshank.

In the final scene of the movie, Andy and his friend from Shawshank, Ellis Boyd Redding, reunited on a beach. Robbins was seen in the films "Short Cuts", "Jungle Fever" and "Bull Durham". In 2004, he won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for the film "Mystic River".

Andy asked Red if he could get him a poster of Rita Hayworth and Red managed to do this for Andy. Throughout the movie, Andy and Red were seen conversing with one another on multiple occasions.

When it came time for Red to go to his parole hearing, he did not present a sufficient argument to the parole board on his first two occasions and he was denied parole. On his third attempt at seeking parole, Red was asked the same question about being rehabilitated that he was asked at his first two hearings, and he answered back with a pessimistic response. Red told the parole board to not waste his time and simply stamp on the paper that they were once again denying him parole.

However, the parole board surprised him by approving his parole and Red was released from Shawshank. Red was next seen working at a grocery store bagging groceries. Freeman played characters in the movies "The Bucket List", "The Dark Knight" and "Seven".

In 1995, he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor in a Leading role for "The Shawshank Redemption" but lost to Tom Hanks for "Forrest Gump". In another scene, Warden Norton spoke to Andy since Andy worked at a bank and was good with numbers. Warden Norton wanted Andy to assist him in a money scheme and Andy obliged but later on submitted evidence to the police against Warden Norton after he escaped.

Midway through the movie, Brooks was released from Shawshank and went to work at a grocery store. Brooks had a hard time adjusting to life outside the prison walls so he hung himself one day at the place he stayed, right after he inscribed the words "Brooks was here" on a piece of wood. When Heywood was down in the prison library one day, he selected the Alexander Dumas' novel, "The Count of Monte Cristo", to read. Andy told Heywood the book was about a prison break so he would like it. Sadler starred in the films "The Green Mile", "Die Hard 2: Die Harder" and "The Mist".
