Alexander was born in Minsk, Belarus on 13th May 1986. He moved to Norway when he was five years old.
2. In 2015 Alexander Rybak wrote his first book. What was the name of the book?

Answer: Trolle og den Magiske Fela

The book is about a troll who finds a magic fiddle. Alexander also wrote some Norwegian music that accompanies the book and put it into an album that has the same name as the book.

Alexander's parents taught him how to play the violin and the piano when he was five. His parents are both professional musicians .
Alexander had to choose between the violin and piano, about which one he wanted to play professionally. He still plays the piano but as a hobby - as well as the guitar!

The fan was from Israel. How it started was that she showed up outside his flat in Norway with some medication for his Grandma. From there she would not leave him alone. It got so bad that the fan would contact Alexander's parents if Alexander didn't reply to any of her emails, or show up unexpectedly outside his flat. Alexander got so scared that he used to have to go and stay with friends outside of Oslo.
He really didn't want to get the police involved so thought that writing a song would work - It did!
