Answer: Estranged

Axl wrote "Estranged" about the breakdown of his marriage to Erin Everly. In the 1992 Rolling Stone interview, he stated, "I cry every time I think of how horrible we treated each other...Sometimes we treated each other great, because the children in us were best friends.

But then there were other times when we (ruined) each other's life completely." Erin is the daughter of singer Don Everly and actress Venetia Stevenson. Axl and Erin had a turbulent on-again/off-again relationship that culminated in a marriage, miscarriage, annulment, and domestic violence lawsuit!

Answer: Manic depression

Axl has stated that he suffered from manic depression in the 1980s, and at times had used lithium to help alleviate the symptoms.
7. Why did Axl reputedly fire Steven Adler from GN'R?

Answer: All of these reasons

Axl and the other bandmates were fed up with Steven's problems with cocaine and heroin. Steven's persistent drug use caused his performance on the drums to deteriorate. To cap it all off, Axl claimed that Steven gave Erin Everly (his ex-wife) drugs, which led to her being hospitalized.
8. Axl tried to explain a GN'R song to an interviewer by saying, "It was a way for me to express my anger at how vulnerable I felt in certain situations that had gone down in my life. It's not a song I would write now." Which song was he referring to?

Answer: One in a Million

"One in a Million" was a song on Guns N' Roses' 1988 album "GN'R Lies." Many people accused Axl of being racist, homophobic, anti-immigrant, and anti-police due to the song. The original Guns N' Roses lineup never played the song live. The quote is attributed to an interview conducted by Del James for RIP Magazine in 1992 .
9. Axl spoke publicly about his annoyance with a politician's spouse in the 1990s. Who was this woman?

Answer: Tipper Gore

According to Axl, Tipper Gore and the PMRC's success in having "Parental Advisory" stickers placed on Guns N' Roses albums lowered their music sales. He protested that super-stores like K-Mart and Wal-Mart would not even sell GN'R albums, tremendously impacting sales.
10. Axl once declared that he wanted a statement written on his coffin. What was it?

Answer: Sorry I'm late

Axl's full statement: "I'm late to everything. I've always wanted to have it written in my will that when I die, the coffin shows up a half hour late and says on the side, like in gold, 'Sorry I'm Late'."--Rolling Stone, 1992.
