Slash played in Tidus Sloan before he joined Hollywood Rose. It was Slash's first band and it didn't even have a singer! The band got its name from a drunk friend of Slash's, who, at a party, kept saying "Tidus Sloan, go home" over and over. They didn't know what it meant, but they thought it would be a cool name.

It was named after the Motorhead song "We Are the Road Crew". Motorhead is a British band that formed in the 1970s.

Guns N' Roses went on this tour with some friends who happened to be brothers. A few hours into the journey, their van broke down. They managed to push it to a garage, but it turned out that it would take two days to get the van repaired. So, the band decided to keep walking for the two days and their friends would pick them up on the way after the van was repaired.

During a fight, Axl threw a fire extinguisher at Steven Adler and broke Vicky's mirror. In retaliation, Steven pushed Axl onto a glass table and broke it too!

West was a friend of the band and a self-taught guitarist from San Diego. He wrote many Guns N' Roses songs, including "The Garden" and "It's So Easy". In 1995, he started his own band called The Outpatience. He died of a drug overdose in his home on the 30th May 1997.

In Slash's book, he claimed that drummer Mark Michaels kept following the members of Guns N' Roses, so they decided to tie him up and put him on an elevator shaft. At the last minute, however, they abandoned the plan and just threw him into the elevator and ran away.
