Born Gaynor Hopkins, Bonnie Tyler changed her name and spent nine years singing in clubs and pubs in Wales. Surgery to remove nodules from her throat, left her voice with a huskier sound, which resulted in her being referred to as a female Rod Stewart. It wasn't until she got together with producer/song writer Jim Steinman, in '82, that she began to have real success.

The seventh of nine children, Michael Jackson was raised as a Jehovah Witness, performing his obligatory door to door missionary work in disguise when he became too well known. As he didn't leave the church until 1987, which was four years after his monstrously successful album "Thriller", he would have been very well known indeed. "Beat It", from the "Thriller" album, was one of the four songs by Jackson that were named by "Rolling Stone" magazine to the list of the 100 greatest pop songs of all time.

Answer: Flashdance...What a Feeling

Written by Giorgio Moroder, Keith Korsey and Irene Cara, and performed by Cara for the dance movie of the same name, "Flashdance" took home the Oscar for Best Original Song. Answer: Billie Jean

Michael Jackson's album "Thriller" produced seven hit singles for him, "Billie Jean" being one of them.
All four answer choices represent the four songs by Michael that "Rolling Stone" magazine named to their top 100 list of the all time best pop songs. Their positions are, "Rock With You" - 82, "Beat It" - 23, "I Want You back" - 9, and "Billie Jean" - 5.
10. What was the #1 song for the year 1983? "Every single day, Every word you say, Every game you play, Every night you stay, I'll be watching you."

Answer: Every Breath You Take

"Synchronicity" was the fifth and final (and in my opinion best) album for the Police. Written by Sting, "Every Breath You Take", held the number one spot for eight weeks, while the album topped the charts for an amazing 17 weeks.
