Just hold my hand to show some concern, if I live or die". You can tell the writer must have been in a bad place when that was written. It is the perfect downer.

The Opinions: This has to be my favorite song by Blue October. Despite the disheartening lyrics, it's actually a pretty upbeat song. My favorite verse is: "I find it hard to hold conversation. I get sweaty sick and I wanna walk away. It's not you, it's strictly me in this situation. I'm wondering will it ever go away, just go away". This is social anxiety at its peak!

Here's a few fun facts. The song "Into the Ocean" was featured in one of the episodes in the final season of "The Sopranos," in which AJ was listening to it in his room. The song "Kangaroo Cry" is the opening song on the "NCIS: The Official TV Soundtrack," released in 2009. Also, the song "Drilled a Wire Through My Cheek" is included on the "Saw III: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack," which was released in 2006.
