Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. From which song would you find the following lyrics: 'It's sleepy sickness That knows me well It's all around me My mind can tell'?

Answer: Scream In Pain

This track was originally intended for 'Permanent Vacation' and was originally called both 'Sleepy Sickness' and 'Feel The Pain'. It was turned down from the album because of its rather sinister and controversial lyrics, but is thought of today as one Aerosmith's reasonably popular unreleased tracks.
2. From which song would you find these lyrics: 'I smell that perfume now here she come again I can't believe this chick and a check out that grin'?

Answer: Dime Store Lover

This track was originally intended for 'Get A Grip' but is still unreleased. The band may include the song on a future album.
3. From which song do these lyrics come from: 'No more lookin' back to yesterday I got the thing to blow us both away'?

Answer: Rocket 88

This song was also intended for 'Get A Grip'. It is unknown if this will be released on a future album, but the song is a very popular internet hit and may soon see a release date on an Aerosmith album.
4. Which Aerosmith song produces these lyrics: 'So open up your menu I wanna slice your honey dew'?

Answer: Bacon Biscuit Blues

Intended originally for their 1997 album 'Nine Lives'. This is another track believed to be intended for a future album. This track was turned down because the band felt that it didn't somehow fit in with the other tracks on the album.
5. From which song are these lyrics: 'And then she caught my eye The girl was lookin' fresh And what was underneath it all Was passion in the flesh'?

Answer: Legendary Child

Yet another track intended for 'Get A Grip'. This track was written by Tyler and Perry with Jimmy Vallance (who co-wrote several of Aerosmith's hit songs) and this also being one of their most popular unreleased tracks on the internet.
6. From which Aerosmith track are these words: 'The streets were cold and barren The nights were dark and dank And the sky, hadn't had a rain cloud in it for 25 years'?

Answer: Melt Down

You'll find quite a few of these questions based on songs originally intended for 'Get A Grip', as is this one! This was originally not released because of the rather depressing feeling it gave the band and because it didn't fit in with the tone of the other tracks on the album.
7. These words come from which song: 'It be night time when shadows fade She was dressed like a chamber maid'?

Answer: Black Cherry

Again, this was originally intended for 'Get A Grip'. It was turned down because Steven Tyler was the only band member who even liked it! In fact the band actually hated it that much that they refused to continue doing it during recording!
8. From which song are these words from: 'In time they'll build you up And then they'll bring you down'?

Answer: Hollywood

This track was originally intended for 'Permanent Vacation'. Despite it being only a demo and unreleased, 'Hollywood' has become a massive hit on sites such as Youtube, and because of this, it is believed that a properly recorded version is intended for a future album.
9. From which of Americas' hottest rock bands' tracks are these words from: 'I got a hole in my heart Lord I gotta do some patchin' Got the seven year itch, girl, We gotta do some scratchin'?

Answer: Wham Bam

The last track in this quiz that was intended for 'Get A Grip'. This is also a track intended for the new album as it is yet another unreleased Aerosmith classic. This was also turned down for following albums such as 'Big Ones' and 'Nine Lives'.
10. Lastly, from which of Aerosmith's tracks bares these immortal words: 'Push come to shove Give it one more try Don't miss your water Until the well runs dry'?

Answer: Love Me Like A Bird Dog

This last track was originally intended for 'Permanent Vacation'. This is another song that has gained great popularity on the internet and may be included on a future release.
