Bart Ramsey was born on November 3, 1954. He's originally from Chicago, Illinois but has spent most of his life in New Orleans, Louisiana. His main genres are Gypsy Jazz, Jazz, and Folk Rock. He's associated with the Gypsy swing band Zazou City (which he formed) and Rob Halverson. Not only a singer/songwriter, he's also a novelist, composer, and bandleader.

Neti Vaan (Vaandrager) is originally from the Netherlands. When she was young, her family moved to Kenya then Uganda then to Texas. She was a street performer in Louisiana and California. She moved to London, England in 1987 and stayed a little longer than she expected. She was a founding member of three root-folk bands: Bill Caddick's Urban Legend, Companions of the Rosy Hours, and Zumzeaux. She's been a collaborator on several albums of Bart Ramsey, playing piano, violin, and other instruments including being a back up singer and lead singer. She came out with her debut solo album in 2006 called "Toonzville".

The group Butterfly Tree was formed by Rick Del Castillo and Dana Davis.

Rick Del Castillo is from Brownsville, Texas. Raised in a musical family he's done collaborations with his brother Mark Del Castillo forming the group Del Castillo. In the 1990s he and Dana Davis formed the short-lived Butterfly Tree group, producing only one album in 1997 which was self-titled. They were going for a Tori Amos/Queen sort of sound. The lead guitarist Silver Koulouris went on to record two solo albums, the last coming out in 2015. He has done session work for several other artists since the 1970s.
