Arguably the second biggest Canadian hard rock band, Triumph was formed in Toronto in 1975 by drummer Gil Moore, bass player Mike Levine, and guitarist/singer Rik Emmett.

James Taylor was the first non-British artist to sign with the Beatles' record label.

Badfinger were Paul McCartney's proteges. They were led by Pete Ham and Tom Evans. The best known song written by them is "Without You", originally sung by Nilsson, later covered by Mariah Carey. Tragically, both committed suicide.

The Beatles obviously released their own albums on Apple, starting with the "White Album".
