Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What song begins with this lyric: "Was it destiny I don't know yet Was it just by chance Could this be kismet"?

Answer: (I Am Always Touched By Your) Presence, Dear

From their 1977 album "Plastic Letters" which was released in 1977.
The album only reached number 72 on the US album charts; however, it did reach number ten on the UK charts.

This is the first album I ever bought.
2. Can you guess this track from the first lines: "All I want is a room with a view A sight worth seeing, a vision of you"?

Answer: Picture This

Taken from the classic album "Parallel Lines", released in 1978.
The album only reached number six on the US album charts but it went on to reach number one in the UK in February 1979.
The album sold 20 million copies worldwide.

This is the second album I ever bought.
3. What Blondie classic begins: "Once had love and it was a gas"?

Answer: Heart Of Glass

This song is also from the album "Parallel Lines".
This song caused controversy because of an obscene lyric. The BBC changed the lyric for radio play, but the song was banned in Australia.
This track went on to sell around two million copies in the US and 1.3 million in the UK.
The song became a disco classic with several remixes made.

7. What song opens with" "Toe to toe Dancing very slow Barely breathing Almost comatose"?

Answer: Rapture

One of my favourite tracks.
This was the second single from the 1980 album "Autoamerican".
With lyrics like "Fab Five Freddie saying everyones fly, DJ spinning and he saying my my", the song was one of the earliest to feature rap as a feature of the song.
Rap, rock, punk, pop, disco...is there anything they can't do?
