1. Blind ___
Answer: Melon
Blind Melon is an Alternative rock band from California established in 1990. They adopted their band name based on the "Blind Melon Chitlin" song by Cheech and Chong. The band found success in the early 1990s and their signature song is "No Rain". Tragedy struck in 1995 with the death of lead vocalist Shannon Hoon and the band would eventually break up in 1999.
They re-united in 2006, briefly disbanded in 2008, and have been together again since 2010.

Strawberry Alarm Clock is an American rock band of the psychedelic or acid rock genre. The group formed in 1967 as a consolidation of two other bands, Three Sixpence and Waterfyrd Traene. The group would produce four studio albums in the 1960s and would not come out with a fifth one until 2012.

Wild Cherry was a funk rock band from the 1970s created in Ohio by lead vocalist and guitarist Rob Parissi. He named the band based on the picture he saw on a box of cough drops. Their best single is "Play That Funky Music" which peaked at number one on both the Billboard R&B and pop charts in 1976. Parissi gained inspiration for that big hit based on a fan's request for 'white' boys to play some funky music. Following that the band would only produce marginal material and would disband in 1979.

Peaches & Herb are a singing duo from Washington, D.C. who have performed in areas of disco, funk, soul and R&B since the mid 1960s. They are comprised of Herb Fame and various 'Peaches' as to date seven different women have partnered with Herb through the years.
Some of their notable hits are "Shake Your Groove Thing" in 1978 and "Reunited" in 1979, those being with Linda Greene as Peaches.

The Electric Prunes are an acid rock band from Los Angeles assembled in 1965. The band evolved from a group called the Sanctions led by James Lowe, the lead guitarist and vocalist, and began their rehearsals and recordings in a home studio. Despite failure early on the band found success with songs such as "I Had Too Much To dream last Night" and "Get Me to the World on Time".
After disbanding in 1970 they reunited in 1999 with Lowe being the only original member.

Black Grape is an Alternative rock band from Manchester, England formed in 1993 and led by Shaun Ryder. They released their initial album in 1995, "It's Great When You're Straight Yeah..." which ended up at number one on the UK Albums Chart. It was eventually certified platinum in the UK in 1996 but was relatively unknown in the US.
The band broke up in 1998 and reunited in 2010 with Ryder and new personnel.
10. The Mighty ___ Drops

The Mighty Lemon Drops were an Alternative rock band from the UK during 1985-1992. They were initially called the Sherbet Monsters but after member shuffling they settled on their new name. Their first single was "Like an Angel" and it managed to peak at number one on the UK Indie Chart. During their time together they produced five studio albums with "World Without End" being the most successful.
