Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which song is this line from: "I'm a loser"?

Answer: When I Come Around

This is from "When I Come Around", from the album "Dookie". The next line is: "and a user, so I don't need no accuser".
2. Which song is this line from: "Strike up another mandolin"?

Answer: Blood, Sex and Booze

From the album "Warning". The full line is as follows: "Thank you sir, strike up another mandolin of discipline".
3. Which album does the song "Paper Lanterns" come from?

Answer: 1,039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours

This album is made up of "39/Smooth", "Slappy EP", "1,000 Hours EP" and a song off "The Big One" compilation. It was made when John was drumming for the band, not Tre.
4. Is the line "A six-pack of apathy" from the song "Jaded"?

Answer: No

It's from "The Grouch", on the "Nimrod" album. Billie Joe drank one, apparently.
5. Which song is this line from: "King of the forty thieves"?

Answer: St. Jimmy

This is from 2004's "American Idiot".
6. "Welcome to Paradise" appears on which two albums, besides for "International Superhits"?

Answer: "Kerplunk" and "Dookie"

I'm not really sure why this is on two albums. It's also on International Superhits.
7. Which song is this line from: "I don't care if you don't mind"?

Answer: Poprocks and Coke

This song is only on "International Superhits", and not on any of their proper albums. "J.A.R" is also on this, along with "Maria" The other two songs are from "Nimrod".
8. Which song is this line from: "Red eye, code blue"?

Answer: Platypus

The song's full name is "Platypus (I Hate You)". All in all, a very cheery, friendly song. Not. The next line is: "I'd like to strangle you".
9. Which song from "Kerplunk" was Green Day's original name?

Answer: Sweet Children

That should have been easy. "Dominated Love Slave", in case you've not heard it, is hilarious. In my opinion, it's worth buying the album just for that song. It involves Tre and Mike doing some very interesting voices.
10. Complete this line from "Misery": "Vinny was..."

Answer: ...a hustler out of Amsterdam.

Virginia was the lot lizard. The hell hound thing I got from "hell hounds on your trail now once again, boy". A weirdo from Green Day I made up. I hope you didn't pick that one.
