Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. To say "scream at me until my ears bleed" sounds like an invitation for pain but in which song did Billie Joe sing the phrase?

Answer: She

"She" is one of the rather few Green Day singles that doesn't have a music video.
2. After all that screaming maybe something "feel like they're gonna bleed". Where does that phrase come from?

Answer: Brain Stew/Jaded

"Brain Stew/Jaded" was released as one single in 1996, though on the album "Insomniac" they are two songs.
3. It's turning dark, so don't move "your burning light" - but where was the light missing?

Answer: iViva La Gloria!

"So don't put away your burning light" is the actual phrase from the song. The album "21st Century Breakdown" was placed at number one on 16 different album charts.
4. Now take your time and "make the best of this test" so you don't regret anything, but you really shouldn't ask why.

Answer: Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)

"So make the best of this test and don't ask why, it's not a question but a lesson learned in time." This song is lovely but really not like the other songs on "Nimrod".
5. "This is how the west was won". You might say that, Armstrong, but you also said batteries wasn't included in the song. In which song did he state that?

Answer: The Static Age

Green Day has won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album twice. One for "American Idiot" and the other for "21st Century Breakdown".
6. Who's "misleading the choir"? The unemployed? Tell me the song where someone can't sing correctly.

Answer: American Eulogy

Actually it's "the deaf-mute is misleading the choir" even if the "the punchline is a natural disaster, and it's sung by the unemployed". The little girl in "żViva La Gloria?" is preaching to the choir but she's not singing.
7. Do you have the "ability to operate machinery"? Because this might hurt it. Tell me the song if you remembered to pay.

Answer: Warning

Did you pay the utility? Because I sure didn't. If you haven't seen the music video for "Warning" then I really think you should. The guy in the video really goes against what we call common sense.
8. "What's left of my mind"? That's a good question with this deadline.

Answer: 21st Century Breakdown

This song got a couple of really obvious references if you look at the lyrics. "The last one born and the first one to run" is a clear reference to "Born to Run" and "I never made it as a working class hero" is a reference to "Working Class Hero".
9. "It all keeps adding up" to fun, right? Or a million points if you want the achievement. But please tell me the song title if you have the time.

Answer: Basket Case

Apparently you had the time that Billie asked for in the first line of the song. Maybe it's because I'm not American but I really think the censoring of language in the game is very ... interesting. And why censor it anyway?
10. Now that "we've come so far" can you tell me which song they came so far in, and where the clocks strike?

Answer: Murder City

"We've come so far, we've been so wasted" "Murder City" is the only Green Day song, as far as I can recall, that actually mentions time.

"The clocks strike midnight in the murder city"
