"T.V. Eye" is the punkiest track on the Stooges' second album, "Fun House", which is one of the best records ever made. The Stooges were one of the bands that influenced the punk movement immensely. Their lead singer, Iggy Pop, is often referred to as 'the Godfather of Punk'.

"Eyeball in my Martini" was on the Cramps' fifth official full length album, "Look Mom No Head". The Cramps were of enormous value for the revival of trashy old rock'n'roll. "The Eyes of Texas" was a track on the self titled debut album of The Masters Of Reality, released in 1988. The band took their name from a Black Sabbath album, which you can hear in their music. Now Masters Of Reality is mainly a solo project for producer/singer/guitarist Chris Goss, with rotating personnel. Goss worked as producer for Auf Der Maur, Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age, Soulwax and The Magnificent Bastards. Masters Of Reality was one of the first so-called "stoner rock" bands.

The Muffs were a garage band from L.A. Their first, self titled, album was released in 1993. It was a lot of fun. Then they blew it, went soft and refused to go away. The Pears was a shortlived American punkrock band, who released one single, as far as I know.

The Slits were one of the most important bands from the English '77 punk generation. And the Hooters were a bunch of ugly blokes that got played a few times on MTV.

Pussy Galore featured Jon Spencer (Blues Explosion), Neil Haggerty (Royal Trux), Julia Cafritz (Free Kitten, Action Swingers) and Bob Bert (ex-Sonic Youth, Chrome Cranks).

The Residents didn't always wear the eyeballs. In the beginning they used bags, newspapers and sea animals to obscure their identities. Only by the time of their 1979 album "Eskimo" did they resort to wearing eyeballs. Which they still do.
