Answer: I always lose

This line comes from the song 'Sorry About Your Parents'. This song is found on Icon For Hire's self-titled album. I personally found this song is perfect to lipsync to, I guess I'm special in that way ;).

None of Icon For Hire's members, neither past nor present, own anything they released through their old label Tooth and Nail. It all legally belong to their old label. Because of this members of Icon For Hire had to file for bankruptcy upon departing from Tooth and Nail.

This line is from the song 'War'. 'War' isn't the original version of this song, however. Icon For Hire wrote this song while still attached to their ex-label Tooth and Nail. Initially it was known as 'Perfect Storm'. Although it was never officially released the band played this song at concerts.

As it was written and performed while they were attached to Tooth and Nail the label could technically claim to own the song so Icon For Hire renamed it, altered some lyrics and changed the instrumental drastically before releasing it on their album 'You Can't Kill Us'.
