Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. This was Ingram Hill's first single. "They told me I had to turn around, my assurance slowly faded down". What is the title of the song?

Answer: Will I Ever Make It Home

The lead singer of the band, Justin Moore, wrote this song when he was in Europe. The song is about his plane being delayed and him being stuck in Europe wondering "Will I ever make it home?" Oh, yeah, and did I mention I was the star of the video? It rocked (maybe I'm a little biased). You can check it out at www.ingramhillmusic.com.
2. "As I stroll down this street I pray for the chance I'll see you there, this time I think I'll share my life with you". What's that song called?

Answer: Chicago

This song was released on their album "Until Now" which was released in 2002. It was also on their next album "June's Picture Show" which was released in 2004.
3. "No bottle here to ease my mind, my rationale has just run wild". Tell me what the title of that song is.

Answer: Your Smiling Face

The members of the band include Phil Bogard on lead guitar, Matt Chambless on drums, Justin Moore on lead vocals, and Shea Sowell on bass guitar.
4. This song was their second single from "Until Now". "I'm the one to blame, I know I caused this crash, so now I wander in this mess". Can you name that song title?

Answer: Almost Perfect

This song is about a man realizing that his girlfriend has more faults in their relationship than he would like to believe.
5. Fill in the missing lyrics: "I know that I've liked you but now _______ _______ _______"

Answer: I'm in love

This was an earlier song that didn't make it onto "Until Now". It's called "Now I'm In Love".
6. Back to songs from "Until Now". What is the title to this song: "I find no reason why I can't be satisfied, perhaps 'cause I can't have you"?

Answer: Maybe It's Me

This song is about a man who realizes that a failed relationship was actually his fault.
7. Let's see if you know the title of this song: "What a waste, what a waste, a life filled up with empty rage".

Answer: Brother's Keeper

If I remember what Phil told me correctly, this song is about his uncle dying. One of the lines in the song originally read, "Oh, Mama please don't cry", but they took out the word "mama" and left the rest. One of the lines toward the end of the song still has the word in it, though!
8. "Tonight you turned your eyes from me, but there's some things that you don't see, you can't get what you want from me right now." Which song is that lyric from?

Answer: The Timing

Justin attended Houston High School in Collierville, TN.
9. Here's another lyric to pick your brain. "Somehow all the blame is mine, you're doing nothing wrong, you say all your trust is gone." Now, name that song!

Answer: The Day Your Luck Runs Out

Before Justin and Phil formed Ingram Hill they were in another band called The Bamboozlers.

This song is about a bitter man who just wants his ex-girlfriend to be miserable.
12. Can you tell me the name of this song: "She dreams about a life with you, the other side ain't always what it seems"?

Answer: Never Be The Same

Justin, Matt, Phil, and Shea met at the University of Memphis.
13. "And so I'll play my song for you and make it yours" is a lyric from which song?

Answer: Hangin' Around Again

The band got their name from a Mississippi highway sign. There's a little town in MS called Ingram's Mill which they changed a little bit to come up with Ingram Hill.
14. The lyric goes "Walkin' in my sleep again, where were you, off in some distant land, was I with you". What is the name of the song's title is?

Answer: Slippin' Out

I do believe this song is about suicide! It makes sense when you listen to the lyrics in the chorus. "Take my hand let it all go down til I am sound asleep". This is one of my favorites!
15. Fill in the blanks (the same word goes in both blanks). "______, you made a fool outta me, ______, help set me free."

Answer: Alibi

This song is an earlier IH song that was never put on a CD. It's called "Alibi".
16. Guess the title that goes with this lyric: "Sleep between us in the bed, I guess we'll stay in Memphis instead".

Answer: The Captain

This song is about the birth of Justin's niece or nephew (I can't remember if it was a boy or a girl). It was written from his brother's viewpoint.
17. "Something keeps me here, I can't stand those beautiful blue eyes longing for him". What's the name of the song?

Answer: What If I'm Right

Ingram Hill formed in 2000.
18. This song's lyric is "Because I've tried, to stay alive, let me lie, this is the last I'll say goodbye", but what is it's title?

Answer: To Your Grave

This song is about a guy who is planning on killing his ex-girlfriend. Yeah, from "Until Now" to "June's Picture Show" Ingram Hill grew up quite a bit and obviously got a little scary at some point. But it's a great song (with lots of bass). It's one of my favs as well.
19. Which song, from "June's Picture Show", goes with this lyric: "I blankly look up at th heart of stone, these two months nothing but a lie"?

Answer: Waste It All On You

Justin, Matt, and Shea are all 24 years old. Phil is the youngest at only 23 years old.
20. Tell me what the name of this song is: "How can this be my fate? If I knew how you felt then I would feel great".

Answer: Without You

Yet another song that never made it onto a CD. Well, technically it did and it didn't. It wasn't ever released on an official IH CD. Someone put a recording of a live IH concert on a CD, but it wasn't ever sold officially as IH. Well, I hope you liked my quiz!
