The band was formed by Daniel while studying at New York University. He formed it with Greg Drudy on drums, Carlos Dengler on bass and Paul Banks taking up the lead vocal duties. Then later Sam Fogarino joined and took over on drums.

Answer: Severed Segments

Before deciding upon the name Interpol, the band considered Las Armas and The French Letters. They also performed a secret show at Luna Lounge in New York under the pseudonym Cuddleworthy.

Answer: Japanese

The U.S., U.K., Australian/New Zealand, and Canadian versions of "Antics" are all the same. The Japanese release includes two bonus tracks which were also available as B-sides to the "Slow Hands" U.K. cd-single. Those two tracks are the Dan the Automator and Britt Daniel remixes of "Slow Hands".
