Lovely tune, the second single from their second album, "A Rush of Blood to the Head".
7. "Every girl wants you to be her man"

Answer: Atomic Kitten - "The Tide Is High"

This is a cover version of a Blondie song. The less said about it the better. However, Henrik Larsson was supposedly heard singing this tune whilst signing autographs recently.
8. "I was blinded by my fate, I traded love for hate"

Answer: The Coral - "Goodbye"

This is fabulous. If you don't have the album then buy it- it would be worth it just for this track.
9. "Feeling lost and I don't wanna be here"

Answer: McAlmont and Butler - "Falling"

Cracking tune! Bernard Butler (former Suede guitarist) showing he still has plenty of great tunes left inside him. The man is a musical genius.
10. "All night long I dream of the day"

Answer: Foo Fighters - "All My Life"

The first single from the "One By One" album, which Dave Grohl reckons is the best album the Foos have ever made.
11. "Standing in line to see the show tonight"

Answer: Red Hot Chili Peppers - "By The Way"

First single from the album "By The Way", which is up there with anything these guys have done previously. Manic taxi drivers rule!

Answer: Supergrass - "Grace"

The first single from the 'grass fouth album, "Life on Other Planets". They sound more like Bowie with every passing year.
13. "I know I can make it, just like I did before"

Answer: The Shining - "Young Again"

The Shining seem to have taken the best bits of The Verve sound and left Richard Ashcroft with the rest. Their debut album "True Skies" is excellent and this track is amazing.
14. "Your smile is your credit card, and your currency is your love"

Answer: Suede - "Positivity"

Suede loses popularity with every album, and it's hardly any wonder with lyrics like this and the powderpuff guitar style of Richard Oakes. Long live Bernard Butler!
15. "I think you're young without youth"

Answer: Idlewild - "American English"

"The Remote Part" is the band's third full album. It marks something of a departure from the more direct approach of the previous albums, but it has proved to be more popular in terms of sales figures. This is a great track.
