Lipps, Inc. was the group behind "Funkytown." Basically, it was producer Steve Greenberg, vocalist Cynthia Johnson, and a group of session musicians. Prince was the singer behind "1999" and "Little Red Corvette." The Trashmen was the rock group behind "Surfin' Bird."
