"Hurts So Good", from the album "American Fool", originally released in 1982. This album also includes the tunes, "Jack and Diane", "Thundering Hearts", and "Close Enough". The artist was still known as simply John Cougar when this album was released.

He would add his real surname, Mellencamp, to his name shortly thereafter, and would eventually drop the 'Cougar' altogether. "American Fool" was the first album by Mellencamp to reach Number One.

According to the original lyrics, the character of "Daniel" had been blinded in the Vietnam War, and then decided to move to Spain.

"Landslide", from the album "Fleetwood Mac", originally released in 1975. This album also includes the tunes, "Rhiannon", "World Turning", and "Say You Love Me". This album was Fleetwood Mac's first with their new lineup which included Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham. Nicks penned "Landslide", drawing on her relationship with her father as the inspiration for the song.

"Time Stand Still", from the album "Hold Your Fire", originally released in 1987. This album also includes the tunes, "Force Ten", "Mission", and "Second Nature". The album, "Hold Your Fire", was the twelfth studio album for the Canadian power trio. As of the beginning of 2005, Rush had released a total of seventeen studio albums, in addition to several live and greatest hits albums.

"Baba O'Riley", from the album "Who's Next", originally released in 1971. This album also includes the classics, "Bargain", "Behind Blue Eyes", and "Won't Get Fooled Again". "Baba O'Riley" (sometimes to referred to as "Teenage Wasteland") is a Who classic, and was one of the pioneering songs to use the synthesizer as the rhythmic backing for the song.

It has since been used in that manner in countless rock tunes.

"When I Was Young". This classic tune was released as a single in 1967, and reached as high as Number 15 on the "Billboard" Charts. Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones once called Eric Burden "the best blues singer ever to come out of England".

"Dandelion". This tune was originally released as a single by the Stones in 1967. It was one of the Stones more psychedelic tunes, and was originally meant to appear on their 1967 album, "Their Satanic Majesties Request", but it didn't make the final cut. Keith Richards also named his daughter after this tune, which was a personal favorite of the Stones' legendary guitarist.

Answer: The Kinks

"State of Confusion", from the album of the same name, originally released in 1983. This album also includes the tunes, "Don't Forget To Dance", "Come Dancing", and "Labour of Love". The Kinks' last studio album was released in 1993, and their last tour was in 1995.

They have produced several of their own albums, as well as other bands' albums, at their own Konk Studios in London, England.
