The thunderous opening track from Mr Loaf's epic debut album, 'Bat Out Of Hell,' that has shifted over 40,000,000 copies worldwide. The song, and everything else on the album, was written by genius composer Jim Steinman, who is also responsible for megahits such as Bonnie Tyler's 'Total Eclipse of the Heart.' 'Bat Out Of Hell' clocks in at just under 10 minutes and is one rock's true anthems... and to think that record executive Clive Davis rejected the project and so harshly dismissed Steinman's songwriting: "You don't know how to write a song... Dream Theater are hailed by many in the metal community as some of the finest technical musicians to ever grace the genre, whilst prog rock fans see them as one of the greatest bands to carry progressive music into the 21st century.
