Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "This is my music, it makes me proud. These are my people, and..."

Answer: this is my crowd

"Crazy, Crazy Nights" by Kiss. Kiss has had nine members since their start back in 1973: Gene Simmons (bass), Paul Stanley (rhythm guitar), Ace Frehley (lead guitar), Peter Criss (drums), Eric Carr (drums), Vinnie Vincent (lead guitar), Mark St. John (lead guitar), Bruce Kulick (lead guitar) and Eric Singer (drums).

The song "Crazy, Crazy Nights" is from their 1987 album "Crazy Nights", when the band consisted of Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Bruce Kulick and Eric Carr.
2. "Guilty as charged, but damn it ain't right ..."

Answer: there's someone else controlling me

"Ride The Lightning" by Metallica, from their second album, also called "Ride The Lightning", from 1984. Metallica started out as a thrash metal band, but upon realeasing their 1996 album "Load", they changed their style and their music to become more mainstream.
3. "Love put me wise to her love in disguise. She had the body of a Venus..."

Answer: Lord, imagine my surprise

"Dude (Looks Like A Lady)" by Aerosmith, from their 1987 album "Permanent Vacation". This song is about a woman who turns out to be a crossdressing man. It also appeared on the soundtrack for the movie "Welcome Mrs. Doubtfire", in which Robin Williams disguises himself as an elderly nanny.
4. "My own land is but a pile of sand, cold and bare..."

Answer: but something still is there

"My Land" by Sonata Arctica, the greatest band in the world if you ask me. This song is taken from their debut album called "Ecliptica", from 1999. When asked about touring and performing live, the band's lead singer Tony Kakko has said that he finds it very boring, but it's something that you have to do in the music bussiness. Also, his motto is "Sleep while you are still alive".
5. "Here's some legs in a pile where my sister once played. Here's some mud made of blood..."

Answer: and these teeth are decayed

"Pick Up The Bones" by Alice Cooper, from his album "Brutal Planet", released in 2000. Alice Cooper was born Vincent Damon Furnier in 1948, but he legally changed his name to Alice Cooper in 1974. Also, the only things that Alice Cooper fears are (according to his website) needles.
6. "His assistant's hips were nice..."

Answer: so he cloned her once or twice

"Dr. Stein" by Helloween, another really great band. "Dr. Stein" is one of their more humorous songs, taken from their most well-known album, "Keeper Of The Seven Keys Part II", from 1988. They usually have at least one humorous song on every album, like "Anything My Mama Don't Like" from "Time Of The Oath" and "Mr. Torture" from "The Dark Ride".
7. "Strong on your feet, you were blinded, building up a tower on shaking ground. Once in a world full of colors..."

Answer: back to see just ruins there to be found

"Painting On The Wall" by Edguy, from their 2001 album "Mandrake". The band's lead singer, Tobias Sammet, has also recorded a concept album called "Avantasia - The Metal Opera", together with some of the big names in power metal, like Michael Kiske, Kai Hansen and Daniel Defeis.
8. "White man came across the sea. Brought us pain and misery. Killed our tribes, killed our creed, took our..."

Answer: game, for his own need

"Run To The Hills" by Iron Maiden, from their 1982 album "The Number Of The Beast". This song was written by the bass player of the band, Steve Harris. He is the only one who has been in the band since they started calling themselves Iron Maiden.
9. "But I took all the heartache and turned it to shame. Now I'm movin', movin' on..."

Answer: and I ain't takin' no blame

"Fool For Your Loving" by Whitesnake, from their 1989 album "Slip Of The Tounge". The song was originally co-written by David Doverdale (the band's lead singer) for B.B. King, but Coverdale ended up recording it with Whitesnake instead.
10. "If I could fly, like the king of the sky. Would not stumble nor fall..."

Answer: I would picture it all

"If I Could Fly" by Helloween, from their 2000 album "The Dark Ride". The band Helloween has had three lead singers since their start in 1982. The first one, Kai Hansen, left the band in 1988 to form Gamma Ray. The second one, Michael Kiske, left the band in 1993 to pursue a solo career, which hasn't been much of a success. The current lead singer is Andi Deris.
