2. "Her name is Nola, she's a rocker with a nose ring." ...and she's the 'Girl All the Bad Guys Want' according to which alternative rock group?

Answer: The Hangover

Although the original 'Bad Reputation' was performed by Joan Jett on her 1981 album of the same name, several artists have covered the song, sometimes specifically for movies.

'Bad Reputation' was covered by hard rock band Halfcocked, and this is the version that can be heard in the 2001 movie 'Shrek', when Shrek inadvertently takes on several of Lord Farquad's knights in a tournament.

The Joan Jett version of 'Bad Reputation' can be heard in the 2010 movie 'Kick-Ass.' Interestingly enough, the music producers chose to use the cover version performed by The Hit Girls for the soundtrack release.

Although 'Bad Reputation' is NOT featured on the soundtrack for the 1999 film '10 Things I Hate About You', it can be heard near the beginning of the movie when Kat pulls up alongside a group of bimbos in her car, drowning out their music with hers. The version of the song playing in this movie is the original.

Powter is often thought to be something of a one-hit wonder due to the success of this song, and having had very little of his other music recognised.

Featuring a distinct piano riff, 'Bad Day' rocketed to number one on the charts, and was ranked as the most successful single of 2006 by Billboard Magazine.

Answer: I want your mind

The seemingly unstoppable Lady Gaga released 'Bad Romance' in October 2009. The song came off her album 'The Fame Monster.' The chorus is enough to make one think that Lady Gaga has a speech impediment!

The somewhat dark lyrics have caused the song to be placed at number ten on the Boston Public Health Commission's List of "Songs with unhealthy relationship ingredients", although Gaga has stated that the song is merely about "being in love with your best friend."
9. "I see earthquakes and lightnin' I see bad times today." Legendary rock group Creedence Clearwater Revival released a song with the above lyrics in 1969. What is the name of this song?

Answer: Bad Moon Rising

Officially recognised as being of the "swamp rock" genre, 'Bad Moon Rising' was released in 1969, off Creedence Clearwater Revival's album 'Green River'.

Despite the fairly upbeat tune, the lyrics are, ironically, quite depressing, with lines such as "hope you are quite prepared to die". The song has also appeared in several movie soundtracks, including 'Shaun of the Dead', 'Mr Woodcock', and 'Sweet Home Alabama'.
10. "Because I'm bad! I'm bad! (Come On) Really, really bad!" No "bad" music quiz would be complete without a question on the King of Pop... none other than Michael Jackson! The music video for his song 'Bad' became a short film of 18 minutes long (despite the fact that the album version of the song is only about 4 minutes.) Which famous Hollywood director directed this masterpiece of a music video?

Answer: Martin Scorsese

'Bad' was released in 1987 off Michael Jackson's seventh studio album of the same name. It is often said to have been the song that helped give Michael Jackson a somewhat edgier image.

Martin Scorsese directed the music video for 'Bad', with screenwriter Richard Price having written the story surrounding the song. There are strong 'West Side Story' undertones in the music video. Other notables who featured in the video are Roberta Flack and Wesley Snipes.

Michael Jackson discussed the idea behind 'Bad' in his autobiography, 'Moonwalk.' He stated that, "'Bad' is a song about the street. It's about this kid from a bad neighborhood who gets to go away to a private school. He comes back to the old neighborhood when he's on a break from school and the kids from the neighborhood start giving him trouble. He sings, 'I'm bad, you're bad, who's bad, who's the best?' He's saying when you're strong and good, then you're bad."

The King of Pop sadly passed away on the 25th of June 2009.
