Yep - it's true. The song in question is on 'Now to live the Life' (1998), and is 'O come let us adore Him' from the traditional Christmas Carol, with music written by J F Wade (1711 - 1786), and there is almost another on 'Your Name's Renown' (2001) with Chris Tomlin's re-written version of 'When I Survey'.

Whereas the others up to and including the 1999 album, were recorded by ICC (even though the ones from 1996 were released under the 'Survivor' record label), the recording at 'The Message live from Manchester' was recorded by Kingsway (probably because the ICC lot were in Shepton Mallet at another event!)

Chris Tomlin's arrangement of Isacc Watts' 'When I survey' includes the refrain - 'Oh the wonderful cross / Bids me come and die and find / that I may truly live / Oh the wonderful cross / All who gather here by grace / draw near and bless your name'. Chris led this song on the 2001 album, 'Your Name's Renown'.

Tim Hughes' song 'My Jesus, My Lifeline' was a new one for 1997, and was on the 1997 album, but was not included in the Soul Survivor song book until 1998.

The 97 album was entitled 'The Heart of Worship', which is the same as track 12, the 98 album was entitled 'Now to Live the Life', which is the same as track 13, the 99 album was entitled 'Led to the Lost' which is not one of the titles in the album, but one of the lines in track 5 - 'A Life of Love' by David Gate.

The 2000 album was entiled 'The message Live from Manchester', which would be hard to fit as a song title or even lyric, and the 2001 album was entitled 'Your Name's Renown' which is a lyric from 'One Thing' by Tim Hughes.

The first verse of this song by Jon Ellis is the same, and the difference lies in the second verse. The Soul Survivor version goes: 'And Lord, I love to bring to You / The honour due Your name; / Just look at what You've done for me, / I'll never be the same', and the Re.Vive version goes: 'No superman, I'm no hero / I'm just a man in Your eyes, / But through Your Son, I've overcome / the father of all lies.' The latter version is also on a studio version of the song by Tree63.
