Answer: Jethro Tull

Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath had the idea that whenever a major band was coming to Birmingham (city where Black Sabbath started) they should be outside the stadium, in their van, ready to take their place in case they didn't show up. One time (out of the many) Jethro Tull had a mechanical problem with their bus and they were late. Tony Iommi realized that Jethro Tull would not come (at least on time) so he proposed to the people in charge of the concert to give Black Sabbath the chance.
