Queen recorded "Killer Queen" for their 1974 album "Sheer Heart Attack" and was the band's first US hit reaching a respectable twelfth position on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. It did even better in the UK, reaching position two on the UK Singles chart.

The Maytals recorded "Pressure Drop" in 1970 for their album "Monkey man" and it features on the soundtrack of the 1972 film "The Harder They Come" starring reggae artist Jimmy Cliff. Fine Young Cannibals released "She Drives Me Crazy" in 1988 from their album "The Raw & the Cooked". It topped the US Billboard Hot 100 chart as well as the US Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play Singles chart. The song reached number one in Australia, Canada and Spain. It was re-released in 1997, but only reached thirty-sixth place on the UK charts.

"Crazy Little Thing Called Love" is from Queen's 1979 album "The Game". The song topped the charts in the US, The Netherlands, Mexico, Canada and Australia and reached second place on the UK charts. The album itself, reached top spot on the UK and US charts and was certified gold in the UK, but platinum in the US. It even managed a respectable fifth place on the Japanese album charts.

Autograph recorded "Turn Up The Radio" for their debut album "Sign in Please"(1984). The song reached position twenty-nine on the US Billboard chart and seventeenth place on US Mainstream Rock chart. The song was rerecorded in 1988 with Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five and was released on their album "On the Strength". Steppenwolf's original release features in the 1969 film "Easy Rider", starring Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper.

Neil Diamond recorded "Forever in Blue Jeans" in 1978 for his "You Don't Bring Me Flowers" album.
