In September 1994 it became the fourth and last song from the album to be released as a single. As well as rising to the number two position in the US Billboard Hot Country Singles and Tracks Chart, it also reached number twelve in the Canadian RPM Country Tracks Chart.

The song reached the number one position in both the Canadian RPM Country Tracks Chart and the US Billboard Hot Country Singles and Tracks Chart. In January 1994 it became the first debut single to stay at number one in the Billboard Chart for four consecutive weeks since Connie Smith's "Once A Day" in 1964.

Faith was born on September 21, 1967 near Jackson, Mississippi and was originally named Audrey Faith Perry. She lived with her adoptive parents in Star, Mississippi until she moved to Nashville, Tennessee to sing country music when she was nineteen years old.

Composed by Bert Berns and Jerry Ragavoy, it was first recorded by Erma Franklin (Aretha Franklin's sister) in 1967. Big Brother and the Holding Company featuring Janis Joplin included the song on their 1968 album "Cheap Thrills" and also issued it as a single.

On January 13, 1994 Faith's version became the second track from her album to be released as a single. It reached the top of both the US Billboard Hot Country Singles and Tracks Chart and the Canadian RPM Country Tracks Chart.
