Paula Abdul owes a large amount of her success to Michael and Janet Jackson. Her big break came when she was hired to choreograph the Jacksons on their "Victory" tour. That stint led to her working on Janet Jackson's videos from the "Control" album.

Answer: The Doors

Keyboardist Ray Manzarek and vocalist Jim Morrison were students at UCLA when they decided to form a band. After adding Robby Krieger on guitar and John Densmore on drums, the band was complete. They never used a bass guitarist, Manzarek provided bass rhythms with his keyboards.

The Honeys, The Jelly Beans and Twinkle were all-girl groups popular in the 1960s. The Bangles began their life as Colours, then changed to The Supersonic Bangs, and then simply The Bangs. Eventually they became The Bangles. The group had a huge hit with the song titled "Manic Monday", a song that was written by Prince.

Answer: N.W.A.

N.W.A. was formed in 1986 by Eazy-E, Ice Cube and Dr. Dre. As a matter of record, Eazy-E was born Eric Wright. Ice Cube was born as O'Shea Jackson. Dr. Dre was born as Andre Young. The group also had the members DJ Yella (Antoine Carraby), MC Ren (Lorenzo Patterson), The Arabian Prince (Mik Lezan) and the D.O.C. (Trey Curry).

Answer: The Mary Jane Girls

Rick James formed the Mary Jane Girls to perform with his band as back-up singers. They went on to record two albums on the Motown label before disbanding in 1987. Vanity 6 was a similar styled group formed by Prince.

The band's gritty legacy is well known in the metal world as being one of the hardest rocking bands on the face of the planet.
