Amanda Walther and Sheila Carabine have been best friends since high school.

2. What Toronto high school did both girls graduate from?

Answer: Mary Ward Catholic Secondary School

Sheila and Amanda met during a band rehearsal for Mary Ward C.S.S.' music program. Amanda played bass clarinet and Sheila played the trumpet.

3. How many years apart in age are Amanda and Sheila?

Answer: 2 years

Amanda is the older one. It was their involvement in the Mary Ward music program that brought them together.

4. How many independent albums did Dala have to put out before they were signed to Universal Records?

Answer: One

Though their first album is not available in stores you can still purchase it from Maple Music and at their live performances. My favourite tracks on that album are "Drive Through Summer" and "Butterfly To Wasp".

It was a really great video for a band that new. I really hope there's going to be one for "Marilyn Monroe"!

There is not one track on this album that I do not love, but my favourite would have to be "Patches". 'This Moment Is A Flash' was their independent album.
