"Cat's in the Cradle" peaked at number six on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached number seven on the UK singles chart. The American singer Harry Chapin originally recorded the song in 1974. Ugly Kid Joe was formed in 1989, by founder members Whitfield Crane and Klaus Eichstadt. Other band members were Dave Fortman, Cordell Crockett and Shannon Larkin. The band's first chart topper in the UK was the song "Everything About You." The track was also used in the movie "Wayne's World", staring Mike Myers and Dana Carvey.

"Fields of Gold" stalled at number 23 on the Billboard Hot 100 and peaked at number 16 on the UK singles chart. The single was taken from Sting's fourth solo studio album "Ten Summoner's Tales". Sting -real name Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner - was the former lead singer of the UK band, The Police.

The three piece band had five number one hits between 1979 and 1983. Song titles were "Message in a Bottle", "Walking on the Moon", "Don't Stand So Close to Me", "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic" and "Every Breath You Take". Several other singles also charted, including "De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da", "Invisible Sun" and "Wrapped Around Your Finger".

Björk is a singer-songwriter from Reykjavik, Iceland. Björk's interest in music began at the age of 11, when she started to learn to play the classical piano at school. At the age of 14 Björk formed her first band, Spit and Snot, a girl punk band. Later on in her early career Björk was with the band Exodus, then Jam-80, which later was changed to Tappi Tíkarrass, followed by KUKL.

The last band Björk was a member of was called The Sugarcubes, formed in 1986. Although The Sugarcubes had some success, the band disbanded in 1992. Björk teamed up with Nellee Hooper, a British producer/remixer/composer. "Human Behaviour" was the first single as a solo artist for the singer. Björk's debut album, "Debut" was also released in 1993.

The album reached number 61 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart and stalled at number three on the UK Albums Chart.

Answer: Duran Duran

"Ordinary World" reached number three on the US Billboard Hot 100 and peaked at number six on the UK singles chart. The track was taken from the band's seventh album "Duran Duran", also known as "The Wedding Album." Duran Duran had already released an album with the same name, of "Duran Duran", in 1981.

The album reached number three on the UK chart, but failed to get recognized in America. The album was reissued in 1983; this time it spent 87 weeks on the US charts, reaching the number three position. Apart from the tracks on the album, the difference between the two albums is the album cover.

The original cover had the five members of the band standing in front of a red background posing. The second album cover has wedding photos of the band member's parents.

Answer: Ronnie Wood

Ronnie Wood is the guitarist and bassist for the UK band The Rolling Stones. Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood were both in The Jeff Beck Group, (1967), and the Faces in 1969. Rod Stewart's solo career began in 1969, even though he was part of the Faces band.

His first solo album was "An Old Raincoat Won't Ever Let You Down" released in November 1969 (it was known as "The Rod Stewart Album" in the US). The album was released in Feb 1970 in the UK. Stewart released his second album in 1970, titled "Gasoline Alley".

The album charted in 27th place on the UK album chart. The big turnaround for Rod Stewart as a solo artist however was in 1971, with his third album "Every Picture Tells A Story." The album reached number one on both the Billboard 200 and the UK charts. "Maggie May" a track taken from the album was released as a single in the same year; it reached number one on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK singles chart.

Answer: Shaggy

A number one hit for Shaggy on the UK singles chart, spending two weeks at the top in March 1993. The single also charted at number 59 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. "Oh Carolina" was the first single to make the number one spot in the UK charts for Shaggy.

The song, "Oh Carolina" was originally sung by the Folkes Brothers in 1960. Shaggy is a Jamaican American reggae singer. Shaggy's debut album also released in 1993, was called "Pure Pleasure".

Answer: Janet Jackson

"If" peaked at number four on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and reached number 14 on the UK singles chart. The single was taken from her fifth album "janet." The album reached number one on both the U.S. Billboard 200 and the UK Albums Chart. The album also produced six top ten hits for Janet Jackson. On November 24, 1993, Janet started her second worldwide tour, aptly named the "janet. World Tour".

The tour would last until April 22, 1995. The final leg of the tour was at Wembley Arena, England.

Answer: Nirvana

The track "Heart-Shaped Box" was taken from the band's third and last album "In Utero" released September 21, 1993. The album made number one on both the Billboard 200 and the Official UK Albums Chart. Kurt Cobain, Nirvana's front man and a founder member of the band died in April 1994.

The band disbanded soon after the death of Kurt Cobain, although a few albums have been released since. Recordings from past concerts, and the "Nevermind" tour were used to compile the albums. The first album released after the death of Kurt Cobain was "MTV Unplugged in New York", a live recording from the band.

The album was released in November 1994.
