Grover Cleveland (1837-1908) was the 22nd and 24th President of the United States. He served his first term from 1885 through 1889. He failed to win reelection in 1888, losing to the 23rd President of the United States Benjamin Harrison. Grover Cleveland had actually won the popular vote in the 1888 election but lost in the electoral college. Grover Cleveland was elected again four years later and served his second term from 1893 through 1897.

Sully was forced to ditch the airplane in the Hudson River, which saved the lives of everyone on board.

Leroy Gordon Cooper, Jr. (1927-2004) was a member of the Mercury Seven astronaut team along with John Glenn and Alan Shepard. He flew aboard the last mission for Project Mercury, which was named Faith 7 in May, 1963. He later flew aboard Gemini 5 in August, 1965 with fellow astronaut "Pete" Conrad. Although he did train for missions during Project Apollo, Gordon Cooper, Jr. did not get the chance to fly to the Moon before he retired from NASA in 1970.

Gordon was the father of an African-American human family who lived on "Sesame Street".
