1. Marie Curie
Answer: University of Paris
Marie Curie received a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) degree from the University of Paris in 1903. The discoverer (with her husband Pierre) of the elements of radium and polonium, she was an early researcher into the properties of radioactivity, including its use as a medical treatment for tumors.
She was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize; an honor she earned twice, for physics in 1903 and for chemistry in 1911.

Emma Thompson received her undergraduate degree in English at Newnham College, University of Cambridge in 1981. She was the first woman invited to join Cambridge's famous Footlights comedy improvisational group, which she served as vice president. She won the Best Actress Oscar in 1993 for her performance in "Howard's End;" and a Best Adapted Screenplay Oscar in 1996 for "Sense and Sensibility." She has become a human rights activist in later years, concentrating on refugees and victims of torture and human trafficking.
3. Natalie Portman

A dedicated student, Natalie Portman received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in psychology from Harvard University in 2003. While a student at Harvard she shared authorship of two research papers in chemistry and physiology. She took further courses at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Natalie won the Best Actress Oscar in 2011 for her performance in "Black Swan." She is also politically active, supporting animal rights, environmental, and micro-finance causes.
4. Oprah Winfrey

Oprah Winfrey won a contest for a full scholarship to Tennessee State University, from which she graduated in 1987 with a degree in communication. A broadcasting icon for her talk program, she has produced award-winning Broadway shows, was herself nominated for an Oscar for her supporting performance in "The Color Purple," has inspired thousands of readers with her Book Club, has established a Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa, and founded her own cable TV network.
5. Angela Merkel

Angela Merkel received her undergraduate degree in physics from the University of Leipzig in 1978, and later earned a doctorate in physical chemistry - both in the former East Germany. She later did chemical research; but, caught up in the growing democracy movement surrounding the fall of the Berlin Wall, she shifted her life's focus to politics and was elected to the unified German Bundestag in 1990.
After a series of increasingly-prominent positions in succeeding governments, she became Chancellor of Germany in 2005.
She was named "Time Magazine's" Person of the Year for 2015.
6. Caitlyn Jenner

Caitlyn Jenner received her undergraduate degree in physical education in 1973 from Graceland University in Iowa. An advocate for transgender rights, as Bruce Jenner she was a gold-medal winner in the demanding decathlon event in the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games.
After the Olympics she became a commercial spokesman, sports commentator, occasional actor. She struck reality TV gold as a member of the Kardashian clan (along with third spouse Kris) in their various reality series. She came out as a transgender woman in 2015 and has advocated for causes that support transgender rights since then.
7. Chelsea Clinton

Chelsea Clinton earned her BA degree in history (with highest honors) from Stanford University in 2001. She later studied at the University of Oxford, where she received a Master's degree (MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) in international relations in 2003 and 2014, respectively.
She has been active in various higher education institutions in the New York city area, where she lives; with the Clinton Foundation's international development programs; and in her mother Hilary Clinton's political campaign.
8. Aung San Suu Kyi

Aung San Suu Kyi received an undergraduate degree in politics from Lady Shri Ram College for Women of the University of Delhi 1964. She later earned BA and Master of Arts (MA) degrees from the University of Oxford in 1967 1nd 1968. She held various elected and appointive positions in her native Burma (now Myanmar) and became a democracy activist in 1988.
She later became one of the world's most famous political prisoners, being kept under house arrest from 1989 to 2010. Since her release from confinement she has held additional offices in the Myanmar government, rising to an office that effectively made her the Prime Minister of the country in 2016.
9. Katharine Hepburn

Katharine Hepburn received her undergraduate degree in history and philosophy from Bryn Mawr College in 1928. She disliked the educational experience at first, but warmed to it as she supplemented her studies with appearances in college dramatics. She is considered the greatest film actress of Classic Hollywood, having won Best Actress Oscars in 1933, 1967, 1968, and 1981. Raised by progressive parents, she was an early feminist and fashion icon, and remains a role model for young actresses today.
10. Lucy Hayes

Lucy Hayes, the wife of Rutherford B. Hayes, the nineteenth president of the United States, received an undergraduate degree from Cincinnati Wesleyan Female College, a constituent of Ohio Wesleyan University, in 1850. She was the first US First Lady to receive a college degree.
She was also a proponent of education for women and girls and other causes that supported the nascent movement for women's rights. The mother of eight came to be known as "Lemonade Lucy" because of her refusal to serve alcohol in the White House, although the decision to do so was in large part influenced by her husband, who was eager to court temperance voters.
