1. ___ Leaves Sodom Before Destruction

Answer: Lot

"The sun was risen upon the Earth when Lot entered into Zoar. Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven, and He overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities and that which grew upon the ground.

But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt." (Genesis 19:23-26, KJV) Lot was warned that Sodom was about to be destroyed, so he packed up his wife and daughters and left Sodom just before it was destroyed.

His hand shall be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren." (Gen 16:12)

4. ____ Tricks Jacob

Answer: Laban

Jacob had agreed to work for Laban because Jacob wanted to marry Laban's daughter, Rachel. However, Laban put a veil over his daughter Leah's face so that Jacob didn't know he had married and slept with Leah instead.

Genesis 29:26 "And Laban said, It must not be so done in our country, to give the younger before the first born."
5. _____ Weds Sister's Husband

Answer: Rachel

Laban didn't care that Jacob was married to both of his daughters as long as Jacob continued working for him. God blessed Jacob with lots of livestock, and Laban was also blessed as long as Jacob stayed with him.

Genesis 29:30 "And he went in also unto Rachel, and he loved also Rachel more than Leah, and served with him yet another seven years."
6. ____ Sent to Prison

Answer: Joseph

Joseph was Jacob's favorite son, which made Joseph's brothers jealous. They sold Joseph into slavery. He ended up working for someone in Egypt, but his master's wife wanted Joseph to sleep with her. When Joseph refused, she told her husband that Joseph sexually harassed her. Joseph was sent to prison.

Genesis 39:7 "And it came to pass after these things that his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me."
7. _____ Puts Joseph in Charge

Answer: Pharaoh

Pharaoh had a disturbing dream, and his advisors couldn't tell him what it meant. One of his servants had been in prison with Joseph and remembered that Joseph had correctly interpreted his dream, saying that the servant would soon be released. Pharaoh ordered that Joseph be brought before him. Joseph told the Pharaoh that the dream showed seven fat cows getting swallowed by seven skinny cows, but the skinny cows remained thin. That meant there would be seven years of plenty followed by seven years of famine. Joseph said that someone should be put in charge that would save the surplus of food so the people wouldn't starve during the famine. Pharaoh put Joseph in charge.

Genesis 41:41 "And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, 'See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.'"
8. ____ Hides From God

Answer: Adam

Here's one of the first stories children were taught in Sunday school. Adam and Eve ate of the forbidden fruit. God came to visit, and they hid. God asked why they were hiding. Adam said they were naked and ashamed. Who told them they were naked? They figured out that they were naked after eating the forbidden fruit from the Tree of Knowledge.

Genesis 3:8 "And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden."
9. ___ Brings Fruit of the Ground to the Lord

Answer: Cain

Cain and Abel were sons of Adam and Eve. When God accepted Abel's sacrifice and rejected Cain's sacrifice, Cain became jealous and killed Abel.

Genesis 4:3 "And in the process of time it came to pass that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord."
10. ____ Survives Flood

Answer: Noah

Noah and his family had survived the great flood in the ark. After the waters went down and they could finally stand on land again, they were told to allow the animals to "replenish the earth, and the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered." (Genesis 9:2 KJV)
