Answer: Euphrates

After Moses had died, God gave the authority to Joshua to bring the Israelites into the land of Canaan. God told Joshua, "Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the great river, the Euphrates-all the Hittite country-to the great sea on the west" (Joshua 1:4). The great sea here is the Mediterranean.

Answer: The armed guard

"When Joshua had spoken to the people, the seven priests carrying the seven trumpets before the Lord went forward, blowing their trumpets, and the ark of the Lords covenant followed them. The armed guard marched ahead of the priests who blew the trumpets, and the rear guard followed the ark." (Joshua 6:8, NIV) Then they marched around the city 13 times.

The priests blew their trumpets and the people shouted, and the walls came tumbling down.

Answer: Ebal

Joshua 8:30-35 of the NIV tells us that Moses instructed the Israelites to build an altar to the lord on Mount Ebal. They were to use stones, coat them with plaster, and not use any iron tool on them, and to write on them very clearly all the words of the law.

Afterwards Joshua read all the blessings and curses of the law, then half the people stood on Mount Ebal and pronounced curses, while the other half of the people stood on Mount Gerizim and pronounced blessings.

Answer: Gibeon

"On the day the Lord gave the Amorites over to Israel, Joshua said to the Lord: in the presence of Israel: 'O sun, stand still over Gibeon, O moon, over the Valley of Aijalon.' So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, till the nation avenged itself on its enemies." (Joshua 10:12-13, NIV)... "There has never been a day like it before or since, a day when the Lord listened to a man. Surely the Lord was fighting for Israel."

The Israelites defeated the kings of Jericho, Ai, Jerusalem, Hebron, Jarmutht, Lachish, Eglon, Gezer, Debir, Hormah, Arad, Libnah, Adullam, Makkedah, Bethel, Tappuh, Hepher, Apnek, Laharon, Madon, Hazor, Shemran, Meron, Acshaph, Taanach, Megiddo, Kedesh, Jokneam, Dor, Goyim, and Tirzah. Joshua 12:9-24 lists them and counts them as "Thirty-one kings in all" (NIV).

Answer: Hebron

When Moses sent out the twelve spies to spy out the land of Canaan, Joshua and Caleb were the only two spies who brought back a good report. For their faith in God, God promised them land in Canaan, and this was fulfilled in the Book of Joshua. "Then Joshua blessed Caleb son of Jephunneh and gave him Hebron as his inheritance." (Joshua 14:13, NIV)

Answer: Zelophehad's

Zelophehad had no sons, only daughters. So when it came to handing out the land, they made sure they got their share. They went to Joshua and the leaders and said, "The Lord commanded Moses to give us an inheritance among our brothers." So, Joshua 17:4 reports, "Joshua gave them an inheritance along with the brothers of their father, according to the Lord's commands."

Answer: Shiloh

Joshua 18:1 of the New International Version tells us that The Tent of Meeting was placed at Shiloh when the Israelites first entered Canaan. However, after many years and many major wars, in the time of King David the Tent of Meeting was placed at Gilgal while the Ark of the Covenant was placed at Jerusalem. Maybe this signified division in later years.

Answer: Eleazar

Eleazar was the son of Aaron. He took over the duty of high priest when Aaron died. He lived to see the Israelites enter Canaan, then, "Eleazar son of Aaron died and was buried at Gibeah, which had been allotted to his son Phinehas in the hill country of Ephraim." (Joshua 24:33, NIV)

Answer: Achan, son of Zerah

After the Israelites had taken Jericho, they were defeated while attempting to take Ai. The reason was that Achan had kept some of the plunder for himself. His entire family was stoned along with him, and then burned. They heaped a large pile of rocks over Achan and called that place, "The Valley of Achor". (Joshua 7:25-26)
