Exodus 32:19. Moses also told them to separate those who will follow the Lord away from those who followed the calf. For those of you wondering what happened to the calf, it was burned, and three thousand men who didn't follow the Lord were killed that day.

Daniel 3:15. These three buddies had so much faith in God, they believed he'd save them from any persecution done to them. King Nebuchadnezzar built an image of gold that he saw in a dream. He put an order out saying that when the music plays, you must bow down to the image. If you did't bow down, you would be put into a furnace. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego would not bow down, so they were put into the furnace.

While inside the furnace, an angel of the Lord came down and protected them from the fire. Nebuchadnezzar had them out of the furnace, and made praise to the Lord.

He even made a decree saying if anyone spoke bad against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, or the Lord, they would be cut in pieces and their houses turned to rubble.

Genesis 21:1-3. The Lord promised Abraham he'd be a father of many nations. Isaac was his true heir. Isaac would later be the father of Jacob. Jacob also went by the name Israel. From Israel came in the 12 tribes of Israel, named from his twelve sons.

Mephibosheth was five years old at this time. While running away, his nurse dropped him on his legs and feet first into the ground, permanently crippling him.

When Mephibosheth got older, King David showed compassion unto him, seeing on how he was the son of Jonathan, his dead best friend.

Exodus 10:21. Imagine it being morning, but still dark out. The plagues of hail and locusts already had happened. The death of the firstborn came after this one. After this Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt, but did not lead them into the Promised Land.
