Locusts are related to grasshoppers. All locust are from Acrididae. There are different species of locust: desert locust, brown locust, Rocky Mountain locust etc.
8. In the plague of cattle, whose cattle did not die?

Answer: Paint the top of their house with the blood of a lamb

Exodus 12:1-28
Every family was supposed to take a lamb (without blemish, a male of the first year) and keep it till the fourteenth day of the month and kill it in the evening and eat the lamb. They had to paint the blood of the lamb on the two side posts and the upper door post.

Christians believe this blood represents the blood of Christ which was shed on the cross for our sins.
