Had the animal's eyes been as blinded as her master's, Balaam would have been slain by the angel of the Lord which stood in the way. God was clear in his instruction to Balaam, but he seems to have chosen man's way instead of God's.

The unrighteous were wreaking havoc with the poison of their words. So many times the Bible warns of the destructive nature of the tongue. The sinner in his folly would not listen to wise instruction nor obey.
