Answer: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

Born Ferdinand Lewis Alcindor Jr. in New York NY in 1947, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar won the league MVP in 1971, 1972 and 1974 with the Bucks and in 1976, 1977 and 1980 with the Lakers. Bill Russell and Michael Jordan have five MVPs each, Wilt Chamberlain and LeBron James four.

A major championship has been won only eight times by a left-hander. Sir Bob Charles of New Zealand won the Open in 1963. Canada's Mike Weir won the 2003 Masters. Phil Michelson won the 2005 PGA and the Masters in 2004, 2006 and 2010. Bubba Watson won the Masters in 2012. Phil Michelson has finished second a record six time in the U.S. Open, but no left-hander had won that title when he won the Open in 2013.

Born in city of Ostrava in the far eastern corner of Czechoslovakia in 1960, Lendl reached 19 Men's Singles finals between 1981 and 1991, but won only eight of them. He is the only player in tennis history to have lost two or more finals at each of the four majors. Between 1982 and 1989 he reached eight consecutive finals at the U.S. Open, a record for any of the major championships.

The AFL (Australian Football League) was state-based and called the Victorian Football Association when it began in 1897. Australia's Steve Waugh and West Indian legend Sir Gary Sobers are tied for second with 10 centuries each against England.
