OK, so who was the 'Mad Hungarian,' 'The Bird,' 'Pops,' 'Charlie Hustle,' 'The Bull,' 'No Neck,' 'Catfish,' 'Goose,' and 'Pudge?' They were Al Hrabosky, Mark Fidrych, Willie Stargell, Pete Rose, Bob Watson (also Greg Luzinski), Jim Hunter, Rich Gossage, and Carlton Fisk.
9. Which cereal company's 3D Superstars cards brought the 1970s glitz to the trading card hobby?

Answer: Kelloggs

Kelloggs 3D Superstar cards were produced all through the 70s and into the 80s, usually one per box of Frosted Flakes. You could get the whole set for 2 dollars plus two box tops in 1976. The 1971 set is condidered the toughest to complete because no mail-in offer was made. The 1973 Kelloggs cards were 2D and did not have the 3D effect.
10. Who finished the 1970s with the best single season batting average at .388?

13. This Chicago Cub won a batting title as a first baseman and finished his career with the Red Sox, with stops along the way at other places including Kansas City.

Madlock won a batting title, but not a 1st base. Buckner had a great career . . . a great injustice that he is remembered for the Mookie Wilson grounder.
14. Who set a consecutive stolen base record of more than 50 during the mid-1970s?

Answer: Dave Lopes

Of course, Lou Brock set the single season (118) and career stolen base records in the 70s ... until Rickey Henderson took over.
15. What two 70s post-season stars for the Yankees played previously for the White Sox?

16. Whose career was cut short by a plane crash in which he was the pilot?

While Clemente died in a plane crash, he was not piloting the plane. Munson was practicing take-offs and landings. Bostock was shot. Enzo is simply a classic 70s ballplayer, and I had to work his name in here somewhere.
