On June 11, 1938, Vander Meer threw a no-hitter against the then Boston Bees. Four days later in his next start, he accomplished the feat a second time, against the Brooklyn Dodgers.

Answer: Eric Dickerson

In 1983 Eric Dickerson lead the league with 1808 yards and in 1984 he followed it by recording the single season rushing record of 2105. In 1996-1997,Barry Sanders had back to back seasons of 1553 and 2053 yards. Emmitt Smith recorded seasons of 1563 and 1713 in 1991-1992. In 2006-2007, LaDainian Tomlinson had back to back seasons of 1815 and 1574 yards.

McLain won in 1968 and 1969. Both Greg Maddux(1992-1995) and Randy Johnson(1999-2002)won the award four years in a row. Roger Clemens, who is not listed, won the most Cy Young trophies with seven.
9. Who was the first NBA player to score back to back 50 point games in the playoffs?

Answer: Michael Jordan

Jordan scored 50 points in Game One of the NBA playoffs against the Cleveland Cavaliers on April 28, 1988. He followed that up two days later in Game Two with 55 points. Chamberlain, who made a life out of scoring 50+ point games had four in the playoffs in his career but never had back to back 50 point games.

Doug Jarvis, who played for Montreal, Washington and Hartford played in 964 straight games from 1975-1987. In spite of not being the "Cal Ripken" of the NHL, Gretsky (nicknamed "The Great One") still was regarded as the greatest hockey player of all time.
