Colt Stadium was built for this new Major League team, and opened in time for the Colt .45s 1962 inaugural season. They played their last game there only two seasons later, and began the 1965 season in the world famous Houston Astrodome. Of the 10 National League teams in 1965, the Astros and Astrodome finished second in season attendance behind the Dodgers.
2. Which National League team began playing their home games in Candlestick Park in 1960?

Answer: San Francisco Giants

The Giants moved to the West Coast along with the Dodgers for the 1958 season. The Giants played at Seals Stadium for two seasons before moving into the famous Candlestick Park in 1960.

The Angels went 70-91 at Wrigley in 1961, then shared Dodger Stadium with the Dodgers in 1962 and ended up with a 86-76 record, improving by 16 wins in the season. In 1966, the Angels moved into Anaheim Stadium.
