9. Very few people know that the FIRST black major leaguer wasn't Jackie Robinson. In 1882, a young African-American named Moses Fleetwood Walker broke in with the team in which of these cities?

Answer: Toledo

His brother, Welday, also played for the Toledo club.
10. This player, who played for the 1890 Cleveland Infants (in the short-lived Players League), remains to this day the youngest pitcher ever to win 11 games in a season. He did so at age 16. What was his name?

Answer: Willie McGill

The Players League was a league set up to challenge the National League in the late 1800s. It charged 25 cents admission, less than half of that of the NL, and eventually took many of the stars of the National League in the cities they played in. Eventually, the league went bankrupt and folded in the mid-1890s. McGill would go on to a very undistinguished career, considering that he won 11 games in the major leagues at an age when most of us are learning to drive!
