Cey was given his nickname by Dodger manager Tommy Lasorda in 1976 because of Ron's running style that resembled a penguin. Due to his physical stature and running style, Ron stole only 23 bases in his 17-season career, averaging only 1.4 per season. Cey went to four World Series with the Dodgers, having three home runs to his credit. The third baseman retired in 1987.

Billy began his career with the Kansas City Cowboys in the American Association in 1888. He stole 111 bases in his second season with the Cowboys. The Philadelphia Phillies liked what they say in January 1890, and bought Hamilton's contract. He stole over 100 bases yet again for the Phillies.

He matched his career high again from 1889 with 111 in 1891. Hamilton stole 914 bases in 14 seasons, comparing to Ty Cobb who stole 897 over 24 seasons, and Rickey Henderson who stole 1406 in 25 seasons.

Robinson played with the Reds from 1956-1965, winning the NL Rookie of the Year Award and the NL MVP Award in 1961. The trade happened in December 1965 when the the Baltimore Orioles traded Jack Baldschun, Milt Pappas, and Dick Simpson for Robinson. As an Oriole in 1966, Frank had career highs in batting average, RBIs, runs, and home runs with 49. He also hit two home runs in the four games to none sweep over the Dodgers in the World Series. Robinson retired with 586 home runs and was a 1982 hall inductee.

Sutter was a relief pitcher and never started a game in his career. He won four Rolaids Relief awards with the Cubs and Cardinals. He also played for the Braves, retiring in 1988. Bruce was inducted into the hall in 2006. Of the 18 inductees in 2006, Sutter was the only Major League player. The rest were inducted for their play in the Negro Leagues.

Craig was a mediocre pitcher with the Dodgers. The Mets drafted him in the expansion draft in late 1961. A rather poor selection as when he went to the Mets, his stats plummeted faster than a bowling ball dropped in a well. Roger went 10-24 in 1962, then went an even worse 5-22 in 1963.

In 1962, the Mets had three pitchers lose 19+ games in the season, then in 1963 had three pitchers lost 17+ games. In those two seasons, the Mets went 40-120 and 51-111. Roger retired with a 74-98 after 12 seasons in 1966.

Combs was a 12-season career Yankee from 1924-1935. He played all but one season with the Sultan of Swat (Ruth) and shared the Yankee outfield with him. Gehrig was known as the 'Iron Horse', and DiMaggio was the 'Yankee Clipper'.
Other famous window cameo appearances amongst many on the show were Dick Clark, Sammy Davis Jr, Alan Hale, Jerry Lewis, Art Linkletter, and Edward G. Robinson.

Fay was the eighth Commissioner of Baseball from September 1989 to September 1992, and was put in place after the death of Bart Giamatti. During his short reign, Vincent was most famous for two decisions that he made. Although it was Giamatti who banned Pete Rose for life, Vincent was part of Rose's initial investigation and later upheld Giamatti's decision to the Rose banishment.

He was also the one who banned New York Yankees owner George Steinbrenner in 1990 after Steinbrenner was found to be involved in under-handed dealings to slander outfielder Dave Winfield.

In a surprising interview just one day after Steinbrenner died in July 2010, Fay admitted that he was only going to ban George for two seasons, but Steinbrenner asked for a lifetime ban because he was tired of baseball.

Juan Carlos (J.C.) Romero began his career in 1999 with seven seasons wearing a Minnesota Twins uniform. He became a Phillie in 2007 where he had a 1.24 ERA with them. The 34-year old went 1-0 in 2010 with only three saves.

Lansford started his career with three seasons in an Angels uniform in 1978, then played two with the Red Sox before becoming an Athletic. Carney played the rest of his career in Oakland from 1983-1992. He went to three consecutive World Series from 1988-1990, but could only pull out one win in the Earthquake Series of 1989 against the Giants.
