2. I was a 2003 New York Yankee. I also played for 12 seasons before this, with the Dodgers, Cubs, Mets, Reds, and Senators. I went to only 2 World Series as a player. As a manager I never made it to the World Series. I was tossed to the ground in the 2003 AL Championship Series. Who am I?

Answer: Don Zimmer

Zimmer's best record as a manager was in 1989, when the Cubs won the National League Eastern Division. As a player, this utility infielder batted a career .235. His 'bout' in the 2003 AL Championship Series was with Boston pitcher Pedro Martinez.
