Pele was the first of three children, born to Joao Ramos do Nascimento and his wife, Dona Celeste.

Pele was always impressed by this feat of his father's. He once went close by scoring three headers in a game, but never four. He however, said that his dad never scored a header in a world cup final, I guess that was Pele's cheeky way of returning years of banter from his father.

Answer: Three Hearts

Three hearts is the English version of Pele's birth place, the original name being Portuguese.

The goal was scored in amazingly Pele's 909th match. Against Vasco da Gama, Santos won 2-1.

1283 goals, the most scored ever by any player in history, and very unlikely ever to be equalled. Some sources give his goals as 1281 and 1286.

Yes he came out of international retirement to play one last game for Brazil, against Brazilian club side Flamengo. The game ended 2-0 to the club side, but Pele enjoyed himself. The game was played on October 6th 1976. His last International match came against Yugoslavia in a 2-2 draw on 18th July 1971.

Paddy Crerand a former Manchester United player was not joking when he said his famous reply to the Manchester City supremo Allison. Pele was quite frankly a god on the pitch and a gent off it.
